The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace my tower recycling bin. The tower bin had a side sensor so opened each time we walked past it, it didn’t have a timer to close and didn’t have a sensor to stay open when scraping plates into it, so the lid on the tower at just over a year suddenly gave way because the impatient men in the house would push it closed thinking it wasn’t closing.This Dihl has been a dream, no one touches the lid because they can see the timer....men instead watch the timer counting down! The bin senses when you are still over the top and delays it’s close countdown until you move away. If ever you want it to close faster just press the close button.The only complaints I can make are that I had to pinch my bin dividers for the top section from the tower because this didn’t have them (only the bottom drawer has a removable divider). It’s not weighted at the bottom unlike the tower but that hasn’t been a problem so far. It’s not the easiest to clean but easy to empty.Highly recommend.

Very poor quality. Temperamental and doesn't work most of the time.Was advised by the seller to remove batteries overnight to reset the sensor (shouldn't need to do this after having it for 2 days), it worked.......for another 5/6 times then the lid wouldn't sensor open again.On the odd occasion, the lid does open, either via the sensor or pressing the open button manually because the sensor is not working, the motor is very week with the lid only half opening.Would I recommend, definitely not. I am in the process of seeking a refund and sending mine back and will stick to a foot pedalled bin.

I like the look of it and size. Yes the bottom drawer is clunky but it's a metal drawer. Holds a reasonable amount of waste and recycling. The sensor can be slow to respond but I like the on off switch and I like the count down. Very impressed.

First one had a problem with lid. ReplacedIn 48hrs by vendor - has been fine since.

Good quality bin, bottom half rolls out easily on its rollers, top bin opens easily on a wave of the hand.

I am really disappointed with this product. It looks fantastic, the size is great for both compartments but only having the product for 3 days the lid has stopped opening and closing. It won’t even open and close with the buttons without the sensor. Obviously spending £99 on a bin you expect it to work. I have emailed the seller and wait their response.

I am appalled with this. It was so pleased when I got it but now it useless. The lid would not lift up so I was advised to return for repair. I did this and it came back worse than it went. Now the battery compartment is rusted and broken. It has been blamed on a battery leaking but it wasn't like this when I sent it off. I am so upset that I have wasted alot of money on something that does not do what it is supposed to. had to leave at least one star otherwise review wont submit. Wouldn't give it any stars if possible.
