Love this product. Can store the marine antenna in the boat without having to worry about securing the wire

Get a metal mount
I had my doubts about a plastic mount but I got it thinking there was something special about this to mate with the Pacific Aerials LongReach antenna. The plastic holding the nut stripped as I bolted it on and once that happened, I was unable to get it off as the nut just turned around when I tried to unscrew it. I ended up cutting it off and ordering an all metal rail mount (Shakespeare 4190) and it worked fine with the antenna.
