This TECHGEAR D-FENCE Case is designed from the inside out to protect your iPad from extreme conditions; dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibrations, drops and a host of other environmental and day to day factors. Our aim with the D-Fence Case was to add function, style and extreme protection but with minimum bulk. We have managed to do all this due to its unique design. It is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate (PC) frame clad in rugged, shock absorbing Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Hinged plugs seal the ports. The back of the case has a clear window screen for the logo. The case allows easy access to all buttons and controls without having to remove the iPad from the case. Many other cases have integrated screen protectors, but these often do not allow for a precise touch experience, and can be very infuriating to use due to their ‘hit and miss’ nature. To solve this we have included a screen protector which is applied directly onto your iPad’s screen, and a tough screen frame which clips on top, adding a great raised lip for extra protection. There is also a detachable front screen cover which provides additional protection to your tablets screen, and also adds a stand function. The stand can be used for viewing or typing positions. This front cover also incorporates Sleep and Wake functions, saving your battery power. This is the ideal case for kids, Schools, Builders, Workmen and others that need to use their iPad in conditions where a normal case just won’t do!
