Major Taylor: The Extraordinary Career of a Champion Bicycle Racer

I thought it was an incredible story of black man with a great determination. To do what he did back in the late 18th century was just unbelievable. There are so many stories like this that go untold. I came upon this story by accident. It has certainly enriched my life.

This was a great book about the life of someone who was great but forgotten. I don't read many biographies, however, I enjoyed reading about this extraordinary man.

A good book to read and learn about history in the making.

Major Taylor's story deserves telling and re-telling. This is the book to do just that. I've read several biographies of Taylor and I feel that this one is the best. Spread the word - buy a copy - buy several and give some to friends.
