Olympus VP-10 Digital Voice Recorder (Renewed)

Excellent recorder, audio quality is decent even when clipped to clothing. Simple to use, love the ability to have it turn on and start recording with one switch. Only, very minor complaint is that there have been a few times I've checked and the battery was low, I'm thinking that was my fault because I didn't make sure it was turned off after I recorded but I'm keeping an eye on it to make sure. The ability to use akaline batteries is good and helpful for those situations.

I bought this in the middle of October 2020 renewed. It works wonderfully.I use it with Dragon Premium 13, which I had previously given up on.I am a writer, and it would have been even better if it had a pause button (like my thoughts).But I simply move the files to a folder on my computer, then have dragon transcribe them to DragonPad, and then print them out.If there are too many files to transcribe at once (Dragon 13 has a limit), just break them up.I hope this helps!

Voice recorder with simple function and easy to use for anyone. Four modes are supported, including memo mode, meeting mode, vocal mode, and long recording mode. The long-term support mode sounds better than the real one, and the vocal mode does not have noise, but stereo is not supported. Memos are for close recording and meetings are supported for recording in large areas. The recording switch slides so that you can be sure it's working. The liquid crystal is very clear and well recognized. However, as it is for beginners, you can't set each one. You should use only four modes. Monitoring and volume control are available during recording. The ballpoint pen in the picture was jetstream.

I actually owned one that I kept at the office, and wanted to have an extra one at home due to Shelter In Place restrictions arising from Covid 19 Pandemic. I had earlier purchased a number of "digital recorders" that utilize a "flash stick" system, I found those to be totally useless and unreliable; money wasted. I subsequently purchased the Olympus. Can't miss with the Olympus.

Horrible battery life. Can go through a battery in a day. Very difficult to press the buttons with my fingers. Have to use a tool to make them work.

Easy to use, plug and play on my computer...very easy.I do not even bother to paly it back on the device.One of my best purchases.

Works great good sensitive mic with numerous optional settings worth the price

This recorder was my life saver on a wedding I did. I couldn’t mic up the bride or the groom so I put it on the priest alter & it recorded everything!! Honestly the best thing I purchased.

This is an awesome recorder, it's discreet, light and records a wide range of sounds. Just what I was looking for. Regard battery life i can't give a review, it is still working with its first charge.
