Stanley London Sterling Silver Compass Rose Locket with Working Compass

This is a lovely, small size, not overwhelming or garish at all. Big enough to see clearly and know what it is, small enough to be relatively discreet while still eye catching. The one I received was delivered promptly and very well made and finished. No problems with the compass at all. The closure is firm so it won't fall open accidentally, which I like. It looks much more expensive than it is, in my opinion. I chose it as a special gift for the symbolism, and was not disappointed with the execution at all.I had developed a close friendship with a young lady I met through a mentorship program. She became very special to me, but when the program ended, she was moving away for work. I wanted to give her something truly special, as a symbol of my confidence in her ability to trust her own moral compass and succeed. I found and purchased this. It is beautiful, well made, and meaningful. My dear friend loved it, and I believe she will have it for a long time to come. I hope it will remind her of my great affection for her, and belief in her potential to stay true to herself. I think it will. I think it would be perfect as a graduation gift for a young lady going off to face the world for the first time on her own.

I purchased this as a gift for graduation.... nice locket. I was very impressed that they fit the engraving I wanted on the back even though the order form was not allowing me to make a space between words. I am sure my niece will love this for years to come, it is not the most dainty necklace but it is “ true north” and is a working compass!

I picked this up as a present for my wife. It was an original idea for jewelry plus a free jab at the fact she gets lost all the time. As it turned out, it looked great and worked out well. She wears it almost daily. Can't ask for much more than that.On a side note, when you check it out in the flip open box that it comes in, don't freak out when it doesn't point north (like I did). Take it out of the box and it should start working properly. The metal in the box makes it... indecisive.

Nice sterling silver piece. I have looked for a compass to wear as necklace for years, all I found were big, clunky pieces. This is delicate, beautiful and I love it. You will need to purchase a chain for it. Amazon offers several nice ones.

A graduation present for our daughter. Great quality product and We had it engraved which was really easy - great customer service - a real live person picked up the phone and helped me choose the font and discuss options. I will definitely look to use them again.

I purchased this as a Xmas gift for my 28 yr old son. He has the same nautical sign tattoo'd on his elbow and works in Iraq. I told him when I gave it to him that since he feels the need to work on the other side of the world, this will help him to always find his way home to me. The locket is beautifully made and as my son said, made a fantastically unique gift. He loved it! Only thing is, the chain it comes with is too short for a man, so I had to replace that. No big deal tho.

Perfect little gem. Gave it to a friend on a key chain. She is kind of a lost soul, so perfect.
