Aluminum Oxide Sanding Belts,3-Inch x 21-Inch 80/120/150/240/400 Assorted Grits (15 Pack)

I needed some fine grit belts for my belt sander, and I struggled to find anything. I am assuming that it's kind of a contradiction - fine grit, using a belt spinning round and round at 500 RPM. :)I was hoping to use 240 grit, but since it was on the belt sander I used the 400 grit. It got me about the same finish I was expecting from 240 grit, but it took me a lot less time.I didn't have any issues with the belts falling apart at the seams or anything, but I wouldn't guess I would get much more mileage out of them than the single board I was sanding.They fit my Black and Decker belt sander perfectly.

Typical sanding papers cost quite a bit especially the round one for the orbital sander. This set is fairly inexpensive and contains many grits sizes. The round ones can also be used on my orbital sander. The band ones can be cut in short pieces about 5 to 6 inches long when I need to clean copper pipes before and after soldering.I ran out of standard sanding papers in no time, but this set still last with a lot to spare.

Package arrived with the usual punctuality that distinguishes prime, precise and perfectly packaged.Inside we find these strips of sandpaper in various grains useful both for roughing and for those finishing jobs.High quality material and excellent resistance, I used them both to sand the wood of the doors and other hard and medium materials , the thing that particularly struck me is the resistance of the product,I do not know if it is a coincidence as other reviewers write maybe similar products without brand have the same result,I can tell you that working with this set of tapes I was pleasantly impressed by the resistance and this is enough for me to call it a successful purchase and recommend it.

I do a lot of sanding on old growth pine. These belts are OK. Thought I'd give them a try, but I won't buy them again. They aren't bad and if you are sanding softer woods or are just doing a bit of sanding these would be great.I'll pay more for Diablo belts, they cost more but they cut better and last longer.

Work great for the price I use it for shaping with my blacksmithing last a considerable amount of time worth the money

These are good sanding belts that I use on my stationary disc/belt grinder. I have not used all of the grit ratings yet, but they seem like a good belt. Early usage has me a bit concerned about longevity, but will add more after further use.

They work and have not torn. They did retain a little bit of a bump from the fold in the packaging. It was not prohibitive though. If that had not been present, then five stars.

They plug up with dust easily. I use a lot of balsa and these belts are almost always 2 mistakes ahead of me.
