Melissa & Doug Wooden Farm Train Set - Classic Wooden Toy (3 linking cars)

My 2 year old son loves Melissa and Doug toys, but the train is definitely his favorite. I love the simplicity of these toys, not needing batteries, and are well made.

There was not a thing you could say wrong about this toy. It is made very well and it’s fine quality wood! It has been through a lot in the past couple months and it is easy to clean and I would recommend it to any Mom!

This train set pleasantly surprised me. I ordered a toy set before Christmas quickly adding this on as an extension without reading the dimensions. Was I ever happy! My 2 year old loves the big chunky parts & easy connections of the train cars. Winner especially for the price. Would make an excellent gift for a girl or boy!

This train set is beautiful quality and much bigger than I expected.

My son (16 months) has been playing with this non stop. He says "choo choo" and drives it around every where, also loves putting the little vegetables and cow in and out. We have been trying to find non plastic toy options that don't make horrible annoying noises and this is a wonderful find. Quality much higher than other cheap plastic toys and my son is pretty rough on toys at this stage (throwing them ect.) Highly recommend.

This set is wonderful! Very well made, bright and colorful, and lots of different ways to play. We bought this to go with some other Melissa and Doug wooden toys and my toddler reaches for this set the most. It's just really cute and it's fun to take everything out and put it back in and drag the whole train around the room. This set is bigger than other train sets I have purchased, which is nice. It does not fit on typical toy train tracks, though. Overall, I highly recommend this cute set.

Cute, sturdy little train. Love the extras. Wouldnt pay more than I did for it though (for like 8 or 9$ with a coupon.) Another comment had mentioned the trains wood being a little rough, like it needed sanded. I just brushed and picked off as much as I could and haven't had an issue with splinters. I still do think they need to fix that, so I knocked a star off.

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. For his first birthday, he got the  Melissa & Doug Stacking Train  and played with it every day until he was 20 months old. He still likes trains, though we've shielded him from Thomas and other licensed products. This train is a GREAT TOY. He enjoys loading up the cargo and changing the order of the cars. He can do it easily by himself, and it is a logical progression from the first train toy we bought. I am very happy with our purchase and thing that for the price, it is a great value. I would have spent more if there was a Plan or Haba toy of similar description, but there wasn't, so this is great! It is a bit larger than I expected, and it is a great train for a gift.

Great toy...learning colour, shapes, number and creative play!

It's good quality, wooden basically so no more cheap Chinese plastics..my kid broke so many of those cheap plastic ones, this one is strong and having good connections between boggies..paint quality is good, washable. It doesn't run on batteries, a plus.

These are fun and you can play with them in so many different way - they are durable and the kind of open-ended play that keeps kids busy for a long time

Very good quality toy train and bit overpriced but it will make kids very happy for sure
