An effective, tiny workhorse of an adapter
This is an effective little wifi adapter. I've had it through three versions of Windows, two different PCs, a Mac laptop, and two moves and it is still going strong. Setup is basically plug in, login to your home wifi network, and start using. Easy. It's very small, so it won't take up much space at your workstation/desk; the included stand makes it easy to pull out and re-plug in the device if your wifi is causing problems; the tiny blue light flashes (unobtrusively) to let you know it is detecting a signal; and the internet speeds are top notch when routed through it, allowing for video streaming and online gaming without difficulty. Not much more you can ask from a wifi adapter. The only hesitation I have with the device now is that it is old. We all know that technology keeps moving forward, so at 7 years old this device is practically a dinosaur. I love it, but if I was in the market for a new adapter, I would check to see if there were newer models with the latest security and signal features (whatever those might be). If this adapter still roughly compares to those, then get this adapter.

looks nice. - Has plastic tags over ports and ring/silent ...
Just opened, observations:- Solid looking construction, looks nice.- Has plastic tags over ports and ring/silent switch. I use those features a lot and don't have a lot of debris that could get in them. I plan to remove them, because when i have an otterbox with similar tags, they tore off over time, were annoying, and I never really had much need for them.- Cut outs for cameras, microphones, biometric home button, and speaker (surprisingly small specific cut outs - series of holes to match bottom of phone- for speakers...)- screen cover is snug to phone screen and responsive, although less smooth than the Gorilla Glass of the phone- volume buttons are less responsive with the cover, and nearly flush with the side of the phone making them harder to find without looking. I listen to audio a lot, so I wish I knew this beforehand.Thoughts:I bought it because I was looking for something sturdy to protect my phone from drops, but I'm realizing that phones have gotten sturdier and I've become more responsible at handling them. I might've unnecessarily limited my options for this goal. But it's still hard to tell, because I don't know how to evaluate the durability of the material or construction for myself (outside of common sense). If I really want to know, I need to look up TPU and hard polycarbonate, then compare it with other cases; I didn't find googling expert opinions very helpful.

Lasted 5 years. Never failed me
I had this with Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 10. Never had any issues as mentioned on other reviews. Yesterday, it just stopped working. No good reason, it simply did not have any internet connection anymore. But I bought it in January 2012!This is a pretty outdated wifi adapter I must say, but for when I bought it, it was excellent, and never stopped working. I have 50mb/s internet connection at home, and it detected it without any problems.I wouldn't recommend buying it anymore, not because it doesn't work, but because there are much faster wifi adapters that have the 5Ghz band (this one only has the 2.4Ghz one), therefore are going to have much less interference. But I never had any problems.Great product.

Amazingly good bargain priced case!
I can't speak to the longevity if this case, but I can say that I love it so far! For the price, I don't see how it could be beat! I've had it for 1 month, and it still looks brand new. It replaced an Otterbox Defender that was a good case, but I hated that it practically doubled the thickness of my phone. I much prefer this case, and it was over $35 less than the OB. This case is very sleek and doesn't add too much extra thickness at all. I like the metallic plates for the back. They add a sexiness factor and make the case look a lot more expensive than it is.To me, the true test of a case like this is whether it really does protect the phone from drops. I am very careful with my phone, but drops do happen from time to time. I recently dropped the phone onto the pavement while sitting in my SUV with the door open. It bounced around a little bit, and I panicked for a second until I picked it up and saw that it was unharmed and that the case didn't even have a scratch! I just knew the back metallic plate would be scratched, but it still looked perfect. The thin shield for the face plate looks excellent and has much less of the smudging / smearing effect than the OB had.The fingerprint scanner has a very thin covering on it that makes it less responsive than normal. It never worked perfectly for me even without the covering, but that is one thing to be aware of if you use the scanner a lot. And, I'm really not sure if I was supposed to remove the film from the case or not so I left it on. I think you could remove it, but that would decrease the water resistance protection. The grippiness of the case is very good and all of the port seals are very tight and secure. The volume and power buttons work perfectly. The speakers sound just as good as in the OB. The one longevity concern I have is with the cover for the silence switch. It's basically just a flap of rubber that you lift up to move the switch. I use the switch a lot so I think it could eventually weaken to the point of breaking off. I'm trying to be gentle with it, but that means it's a little more work to move the switch. For me, this is the one negative to this case. But it doesn't make me regret the purchase at all.I have not had any accidents involving liquids, but I feel reasonably confident that a splash or two would not hurt the phone at all. I imagine if I spilled a drink on a table where the phone was laying that it would be unharmed. Would I use it in the shower or pool? No. But I wouldn't use a life proof case in that way either! I'm too paranoid about my $700 phone to get that brave. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this case! For this price, I'm really contemplating buying another one just in case the price goes up by the time I want a new one! It's certainly a steal at $15!
