I love this product and have been using it for many years. It is way cheaper on Amazon so I always get a few bottles when it’s on sale.I put this on after I blow dry my hair and I can pretty much run my fingers through my hair and it styles it perfectly but I do use it mainly because when I use a curling iron, I want to protect my blonde hair. It does help make my style last all day long along with the Tigi Manipulater and hair spray.For reference, I have short hair and I don’t know how well this works with long hair. It seems like you’d have to put a lot of product on long hair and I’d wonder if the hair would be limp.

I have been buying kenra 19 thermal protection spray for many years. I have extremely straight short hair. This has been the only product that helps hold my curl in when I curl it with a curling iron. After washing my hair I dry it and before curling each piece I spray with Kenra. The only downside is it does put a film on your curling irons.

I had been using the Redkin Hotsets for many years. I used it by spraying it over hair rollers then applying a blow dryer to it. It helps solidify the curl made. I also have used it to add volume to my hair by teasing the roots, spraying, then applying heat via blow dryer. The last time I needed to order some I could no longer find the Redkin Hotsets so I began searching for a replacement & chose this product. I've used it for a couple weeks now & must say I am not disappointed! I will buy again & highly recommend for the purpose I use it for...smells great too (reminds me of the smell from a Paul Mitchel product).

Exactly what I was looking for…spray it lightly all around on dry hair and then re-style with heat—hair dryer or curling iron. Works great. Will buy again, hope to find it in a travel size.

This thermal spray left my hair dry and hard to comb through. My hair is fine but thick and I always use a thermal spray. I went back to my old spray. It may work for you.
