WAHL Professional Animal Pocket Pro Equine Compact Horse Trimmer and Grooming Kit, Purple (#9861-930)

I had one like this years ago and lost it, but this one does not cut as well. I use it to trim the hairvin my digs furry feet. This one just does not trim as well as my old one and requires more passes over the are to trim the fur.

I needed small clippers to groom my mini horses face for his events. He is a therapy horse and he needs to look picture perfect for his visits with disabled children and adults.These clippers are the best ! Long lasting and work great !

I've gotten the mini wahl clippers in the past ( and still use my old ones) but after 15 years ,some of the plastic housings and various parts have deteriorated on some of them so I was wanting a new backup unit . I'm not sure if there is a difference in how different colors are made but the blue ones have been regular work horses for me. This purple one, however, has been noisier and it just hasn't cut very well from the start! I may sharpen it and see if that helps with the noise and cutting ability, other than that ,this size is perfect for paws ,eyes and ears.

I love the small ones for my small dog and its portable.

I originally bought these clippers to catch those pesky horse muzzle hairs that are missed with larger clippers. It worked, but have to work at it because of the coarseness of the hairs. I'm using them now to spot trim a long haired cat that has a skin condition. They work great, but are very loud for a cat. Though my cat didn't protest even the first time. Would recommend/buy again.

My elderly cat gets acne on his chin (really!). I use this trimmer to keep his chin shaved so acne pads can reach the problems. This is the second identical trimmer I've purchased. The first lasted over 20 years!

I was hoping I could use this to trim my miniature poodle's paw pad and muzzle fur in between grooming. My dog's fur is so thick and fine, that this trimmer couldn't trim the fur. I'm sure that the trimmer would work for horses or other straight fur animal without any issues. I have other Wahl products that work for my poodle, but they have cords. I was hoping to have a more portable option for when I'm traveling.I liked the trimmer size and low noise level and would have given five stars if it worked on my poodle's fur.

I got these to clip my horse’s bridle path and they’re just not heavy duty enough for that. Would be great for little areas or dogs.

Works well. Doesn’t cut too close in paw

Of course you have to think about the size and use. But it works great I have no complaints I use it on my yorkie all the time around her face and but. Not full size clippers but It’s great.

Very noisy clippers which is not ideal.

Easy to use and good price but blade just not sharp enough for precision work.
