I bought this headlamp for a night walk. My husband said he is going to keep it for his firefighter rescue helmet. The light housing is metal not cheap. The head band is very comfortable and the like is very bright!. The batteries are included and are rechargeable. There are 4 modes including an SOS mode.

I had several criteria in ordering this particular head lamp. I needed it to be)1) USB rechargeable2) Li-ion battery3) LED light(s)4) Night (red) modeThe 'red' advertised is a strobing red light, absolutely USELESS for use in the dark. I don't know about anyone else, but I would never use this mode to "signal" anything. They call it 'SOS mode' and it is not only annoying, but also 100% useless.I also have to mention that the light on the back battery pack is less than desirable. I can see circumstances where I would like it, but in others I definitely would not. It would have been far, far better if there were one simple little switch on the back panel to turn that "HERE I AM" beacon off and on as needed.I could live with this light for very basic camping use, but it's not what I was looking for. This could be addressed if there were a way to hack into this thing and turn the red strobing light into a solid red, and if that "HERE I AM" beacon in the back could be disabled.TO THE SELLER:Want me to upgrade my review? Help me make the strobing red 'SOS' light useful by making it solid instead of strobing and tell me how to easily disable the rear beacon that currently can't be controlled at all. The strobing red light is worth two stars and the rear light is worth one star. That's why I have to leave this review at two stars for now.As for brightness, it's good. Fit and comfort, just fine. The battery cover (a rubber lid that seems to fit loosely) bothers me a bit; I would NOT use this in the rain because of that, and I would even worry about heavy amounts of sweat. I like that it's LED (efficient) and that I can charge it from various devices; Li-ion are the best batteries these day. But really, there are some very basic design flaws here (see above) which make this far less practical than I thought it would be.

I just got it, but so far I love it. Uber comfortable, great angles for the light, and several light choices from bright to dim to a flashing red emergency light. If anything goes awry I will update this review, but so far I highly recommend it.

This headlamp is pretty good for a short amount of time. The batteries stop holding a full charge very quickly, and water on the lens does cause flickering. The light is bright and is good for working in the dark, but after a few months you will have to buy a new one as this one will stop working.

I bought two of these earlier this month to take on a camping trip based on a review from another website. The battery pack at the rear is large, heavy and uncomfortable to wear. One of them failed to work after turning it on one time, it is now worthless. The other works, the light brightness is fine, but because of the battery pack size, I carry it in my hand instead of wearing it on my head. You have to carry the enclosed charge cable with you to recharge the batteries. My advice, buy another brand, don't waste your money here.

Awesome little headlamp for your toolbox, car, or get home bag. It’s very bright, easy to use, and battery efficient. The rechargeable feature is a huge plus and the reason I picked it over other options. Buy one—you won’t beat it for the money!

I love my headlamp. It’s just what I need to walk my 3 dogs, it leaves my hands free to hold leashes. I can changes setting from bright to an sos signal. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Will recommend to others as hunters.

This headlamp is on point! Great price and very bright. Several settings and the red flashing alert light as well. It's much more comfortable that I thought it would be. I take my beading seriously, that's why I bought it and it's perfect! It'll be great camping as well. The light can adjust straight up and down.
