As a student and a gamer, I need a keyboard and mouse that are both comfortable and durable. When my last keyboard's W key stopped responding from too much use, I searched and pored over reviews from various sites before settling for this purchase. So far, the items have met my needs, and at a cost that made my student's budget happy. I'll individually review the items received.First of all, please read the description of the item: the keyboard does not light up in multiple colors *at the same time*. However, it does cycle through blue, red, green, purple, turquoise, yellow, white (which looks grey since the keyboard is black), and "blue 2" by pressing "Fn + Tab." Yes, the keyboard has a second blue color, which is the last in the cycle. (If you quickly Tab through the colors, you'll notice that there are two blues next to each other.) If you leave this one selected, the keyboard will cycle through all the colors in the order listed. The keyboard's lights shut off after a period of unuse, which is great for power saving, but the letters themselves blend in with the keys if there is no backlight, making it difficult to come to the keyboard if the room is dark and such. The "key hit rate," volume, intensity of the backlight ("Fn + Esc" -- cycles through low, bright, and varying), and music can be controlled from the keyboard. The keys themselves are not larger than any other keyboard, but the letters on them are wider and easier to see. Over all... it just looks "cool," and I like it.The wide pad pictured is more for the keyboard than the mouse: it fits the keyboard's four feet very well and keeps it from sliding around. This was surprising, since the surface of the pad is very smooth. However, it keeps the keyboard in place when subject to average force. I don't see any sign of the thread unraveling around the edges.The mouse surprised me the most. I have small hands and fingers, and expected to keep using the last mouse I bought since that one worked very well for work and play, and was wireless to boot! But I was not disappointed. The mouse is comfortable for both me and my boyfriend, whose hands are much larger than mine. It has forward/back buttons where the thumb rests. The speed of the mouse can be adjusted with the button below the scroll, which is great since I prefer a very fast mouse for some applications and a slower one for others. The mouse buttons are more "sensitive" the higher up you go due to torque (it's just the way mechanical objects work -- I saw some reviews about the mouse being "too sensitive" and it might be because their fingers rest higher than mine do). The mouse continuously cycles through all the aforementioned colors at once, and as far as I know, can't be made to stay one color. Hopefully the light bulbs inside don't burn out...I did receive the OTG cable listed in the description. I haven't had to use it yet, but I hope it works!

I've had this keyboard for a few days now and so far i am really liking it. The mouse is independent from the keyboard so it always cycles through the colors, which i think looks pretty sweet. I don't think you can set it to just one color but that doesn't bother me at all. The keyboard feels pretty good and the keys are easy to push. Changing the colors on the keyboard is fast and easy. You can set it to where the keyboard cycles through all of the colors (which is pretty neat) but as far as i know (I could be wrong) you can't have multiple colors shown at once.(as shown in the images they give you) You are able to adjust the brightness of the keyboard and turn off the keyboard's lights. You can also set it to where the keyboard slowly flashes, I don't use this feature too much but it's cool for showing off. I didn't receive the OTG cable. I'm not that upset about this because i wasn't planning on using it anyways but if you were someone who was going to use it..you might just want to order a separate one just in case you don't receive one like i did. Overall I am happy with this purchase and recommend it!

I bought this on impulse in Black Friday, it replaces my ancient setup which was very clunky. This feels nice and looks great, and is well worth the price (the price on Black Friday would probably cover a basic wired keyboard and mouse setup from PC World/Maplin; they wouldn't feel as nice as this!)As others mentioned the keyboard colour is solid not mixed as the picture suggests - I didn't expect or care about the colours. The mouse changes colour on its own accord, and is always on if plugged into the USB and the main power is on but the PC is off.Keyboard works perfectly, keys are US standard, I know what keys do what so this isn't a problem for me. Keyboard is nice and solid, and keys very durable. Haven't used it for gaming, it works well for studying and general computing.Mouse works very well, flows easily, which is perfect as I do like a fast mouse.Didn't expect the mousemat to be so large or a nice gaming style, it was a nice surprise as I was expecting a cheap throwaway mousemat.Only bugbear is the USB connections are large and chunky, my current computer is a screen version with x2 USB ports on the side and x3 on the bottom - always plugged in USBs are in the bottom which means the USB for mouse and keyboard stick out further than where the screen sits - rather impractical - my current solution is for the screen to sit on a cardboard box with holes in for the USB ends to stick out!Seller also sent box without seal/wrapping; no contents missing but would suggest a seal at the very least to protect contents (all items were in their own boxes but there was nothing to stop anything going missing).

I bought it as a present for my 9yr old son and all I can say is he loves it!I've not seen it lit up in all the colours so i'm not sure if that is possible to do! I looked around and messed with it but don't seem to find a way!! Maybe all the colours on the picture is for illustration purposes only!! The mouse is cool, it changes colour all the time and the mouse matt is cool too!

Pretty decent keyboard/mouse combo. Feels solid, not light and flimsy and the colours look great. The mouse changes colour by itself which is pretty cool but the keyboard just has set colours, it doesn't go multi-colour or transition by itself. Happy though.

My son thinks it's the bees knees.Some instructions on how to change the lights would have been good, but Utube sorted this out.Would like the mouse to power down like the keyboard does when switched off.

So far do good.I m enjoying it and the layout of the keyboard is UK so don't be fooled by the characters on the buttons. being US. Good purchase for the price i love the all Dark Knight tone and moose pad.
