Wireless Mouse - Ford GT White with Blue Stripes

This is certainly a discussion piece. Everyone has thought it was a toy but was quickly amazed to find it a mouse. Unfortunately, when children see it they believe it to be a toy and want it for their own.This pointer device works as well as any I have ever used, regardless of the price. I highly recommend it to anyone. I also purchased one as a gift which was happily received.

I fell in love with the look of this mouse & the fact it was wireless just cemented the deal. Two years later, I now realize that had I known then what I know now about these, I'd have saved myself the money & bought something cheaper.The look is great though not perfect, but that's apparently all the mouse really has going for it. First & foremost, it EATS batteries. It takes two AAA's and I literally go through them every 6 to 8 weeks depending on what brand. Lithiums take a little longer, but it's still not ideal especially compared to my wife's Logitech which hasn't had a battery change in over a year.Another major annoyance is the center wheel. It quit working correctly nearly a year ago. Now, whenever I attempt to scroll up or down on anything, it starts to at first & then scrolls back up (or down) sometimes further than where I just was on whatever it is I'm working on. I've fought with it to the point I've practically given up trying. It's faster just to click, hold & scroll.One interesting, but useless feature is a switch on the bottom that turns on the headlights, however they only come on when you click. Kind of neat I suppose, but then there's that battery situation. I usually have the feature turned off to save whatever battery life I can.Yet another problem I almost forgot about is the sync issue. Occasionally, the mouse loses connectivity with the computer & you have to resync it. It's frustrating having to dig out or look up the procedure (that for some reason I never could memorize) now & then. I've never seen one quite like this one where you must press & hold a certain button on the bottom (which has no label) and left click within a certain range (something else I'll get to in a moment) and if you don't do it precisely, it won't work. I've spent minutes before trying to get it to sync up. This compared to the aforementioned Logitech which NEVER needs syncing.The range is probably the second worst thing after the battery life. I've noticed that the mouse has problems & the cursor is sluggish unless the dongle is literally within 2 to 3 feet. Unless it's for cosmetic reasons, why bother with wireless if it's got to be that close?Overall, I'd rate it 3½ stars for functionality (4 if it wasn't for the dongle proximity issue), 4½ for looks & 2 for reliability & longevity.Save yourself some money & get a Logitech for under $20. You can use the money you saved to buy a far more accurate looking scale replica of the car than you'd get with this.

This mouse has style... Ford GT that is!!!The click response is normal and the headlights flash upon your click.The only oddball thing about the mouse is that when the battery starts to wear down the clicking is momentary.At first it caught me off-guard, but now that I know that is a good indicator that the battery needs replacing I am fine with the product.

The mouse works great, looks great, and is fun to use. Due to being on backorder, I had to wait almost a month to receive it but it was worth the wait.

This is a cool mouse, it is used in a garage and I get many positive comments. However, it is quirky; it disconnects often and reacts very slow at times. It's a fun toy as a secondary mouse, but not possible to use as my primary mouse. Only one headlight works.

Easy to use. No problems. That and it doesn't even look like a mouse. No connection problems so far so it's working pretty good
