They feel pretty sturdy. They do not twist in, but I haven't had an issue with the stone part popping out either. However, the flat part of the post is sharp around the edges. I didn't think it would be an issue but after about 4 hours of wear in my lip, I noticed my lips were extremely sore. I have a medusa piercing and my bottom lip done directly under. The bottom piercing was noticeably hurt. My lip was swelling and it hurt to talk. When I removed this jewelry, I could see a perfect circle cut in to my lip where the flat part of the post sat. It wasn't like the indentions you can sometimes get with flat backs; it was an actual cut. I then removed the medusa and the same thing was happening but I assume since it moves less, it wasn't as severe.I took an electric file to the post part and sanded it down a bit. I'm not wearing them because my lips are very irritated at the moment but I tried them on after filing and they seemed much more comfortable.You shouldn't have to file your jewelry to wear it though.Editing to add:Photo is of my bottom lip where the jewelrys flat post cut into my lip. This is two days after removal and 17 years after having it pierced. I've literally never had this happen before. I do not recommend these.

My earlobes usually need longer posts so I ordered the 8mm and they were plenty long. I ordered the 6mm for everything else and some of those were almost too long too. Luckily I read the reviews so I knew what to expect when putting them in. It was very difficult to insert some of them depending which piercing I was working on since you push them through the back. I used a corsage pin (I filed the sharp tip off) and pushed it through the front of the piercing to help guide the post in from the back. The gem pops securely into the post and so far none of them have come apart. I was hoping the flat backs would prevent my hair from getting tangled in them but I still have problems with the top ones, but mainly when my hair is wet. I am very happy with them and like the way they look. It was nice to get a larger quantity of earrings for one low price since I need so many!

I bought them as earrings. I can't stand the spiky backs of earrings, since I have them all up my ears and keep them in all the time. They were hard to get in, as you'll have to push through the back, and iits difficult to screw the tiny gem on, but once they are in, they're not falling out!!

My 10 y.o. Labret BLED trying to get these in! The plastic was extremely sharp and the hole for the gem was getting stuck full of tissue, it was painful!The gem itself was okay looking, but the back of the posts were really wide and kept getting caught on each other (I have shark bites)Not a horrible product but it’s given me nothing trouble since I had them in.

Item looks like it would work but i quickly found out that the studs are not long enough to work in nose. I was struggling and killing my nose trying to get these things in my nose! did more dammage to myself. I guess I should have done better research in knowing all there is to know about sizing of jewelry for face or what ever area you want pretty sparkly stuff to be pierced on you! So I have to say know your sizes before ordering. I have to put these away and not use due to them being to small to use anywhere on our bodies at my house. They might work for you! just my personnal issues.

I put this in my nose piercing and idk if it was 16g, seemed a little big, also, my fault for having nails but it was a bit difficult to get on the thread but once it sat it screwed in very easily! Hoping these stay longer than my posts!

Well something was set on top of the bag of rings as all were crushed flat folding over the round backside almost breaking it off. Only one is straight/use-able left of the pic. Also after thought of buying, these seem like a big choking hazard if one broke off in your mouth, or chewed in your sleep. Now realizing these are basically plastic all i can think about is biting off my clothes tags, and how its about the same. just seems like a very poor idea. Spend more money...

I bought the 16g 6mm metal studs for my cartilage piercings and they are so cute and I love them! they only downside is that most of the studs I received are so hard to unscrew. i’m sure if I used pliers or something I could get them apart. luckily I was able to find a few loose ones in the pack
