Is it thick enough to make a box from it?

The product in my opinion is not strong enough to make a box with it is like a compressed polystyrene

Does this card have a shiny side on it to enable it to accept spray paint?

No it does not have a shiny side - thin card

Can i use oil painting on this

It is very thin card ( like you would get in packaging of new shirt) ? If oils would seep through
