Chessex CHX27478 Dice-Velvet Set, Black/Red, Large (18mm - 25mm)

Let me start by saying that I have been a fan of Chessex products for many years, and the “quality” of this product matches what I expect from a trusted company. However, with that being said, I have to say that the product does not match the description. A quick search for dice of the 25mm variety will show you a couple options, usually with size comparisons between 25mm dice and (standard) 16mm dice. THESE dice, listed as 18mm-25mm, are simply the standard 16mm variety.As dice, they’re not bad. The only reason why I’m giving a 2-star review is because: 1) I was disappointed that the item didn’t match the description, and 2) that although the return process is uncomplicated, I am currently traveling and bringing the item to the nearest return location is a bit of a hike.

They really do feel nice and are easy to read, they roll very well although I haven't tested them for fairness yet. After using them I did notice some sides were made uneven, felt like dented in.

Super easy to read and high quality too. Just enough design touch to make them enjoyable to look at but not so much that they loose their utility.

None of these dice are any larger than their counterparts in the standard 16mm sets I've bought before. The D6 is noticeably much smaller.

These are reminiscent of the Scarab dice. Just as beautiful, kind of smoky looking with silvery flecks instead of gold. Love them!

I always get Chessex dice for D&D. Never had a bad batch, they look good and roll well.

Lighter and more grey than I expected, but still very nice!
