Mixes well, tastes fine
Been using for a week. No problems getting it to mix without lumps (I use the warrior mixer available for only £2.99 on here). Taste is chocolatey and creamy, no issues at all. Big protein hit but watch out, the tub is huge!Only issue for true vegans (which I’m not) is that the label notes possible traces of eggs and milk although these aren’t in the main ingredients.Would recommend based on use so far.

Tastes great
Great product, cheap and does the job

Tastes good but slightly too sweet for me
The overall flavour is good and a lot better than other protein powders. It doesn't have that chalky/powdery taste at all. I just find it to be too sweet when mixed with unsweetened oat milk

Don’t have to be vegan to like vegan gainz
Not even a vegan but this stuff made me swell tf up. Can’t be dealing with the whey protein shakes, not really even a fan of any other vegan shakes. They generally taste awful as well.Vegan gainz, good flavour, good consistency, make you swell up proper! Recommend with banana, bit of almond milk and a bit of water. Too thick otherwise. Unless you like it thick! Pause!

Very unpleasant paste.
Three scoops in full glass of water, ends up like wall paper paste! Does not dissolve and has nothing like the taste of vanilla, very unpleasant. I will keep the container but discard the contents!

Volcanic clouds of grey-tasting protein
I've tried the following dairy-free protein shakes: Vegan Gainz, Bulk Vegan (3 flavours), EarthChamp and SCI-MX Pro-V Gain. The last was my favourite, though I had one iffy batch and then my gut started to react to the sucralose sweetener.Selling point with Vegan Gainz seems to be value, but Pro-V Gain and even EarthChamp are pretty similar at around 30 servings for around £30. Bulk is much better value (but requires some mettle to get it down in any of the three flavours I've tried).Vegan Gainz provides nearly as much protein from one shake (30g) as Pro-V Gain, but at a higher calorie/carb content (which might be what you need to bulk up, but not to get shredded). While it mixes better, it doesn't taste nearly so good (mint chocolate flavour - what was I thinking?). Though most of these things taste... grey, at best. And I'm making these shakes just with water, so perhaps trying some milk substitute or in a smoothie is the way forward (with mint chocolate?)?Vegan Gainz is loaded with sucralose too, so if you get gassy, that's probably why.Another thing in favour of this one is the variety of protein sources. Can't say it's a noticeable benefit, but the literature says that's a good thing. The colossal bucket it comes in is a pain, from the volcanic clouds of chocolatey powder that prising the lid off inevitably launches over your kitchen, to disposal when empty. But if it makes you feel macho, go for it!

Good taste, good product
There are a lot of protein powders to choose from, but quality and quantity matter. This has both - at a price that's fair.
