I was having trouble finding a cell phone holder that was long and sturdy enough. I studied all the descriptions to make sure it had all the features I wanted. I was looking for a magnetic pad, but the spring-loaded grip works fine. I was also nervous that it might not hold its position with the weight of the cell phone and fully extended. Also, I needed the clamp to open wide enough for my table top thickness. Anyway, I saw this one with the wing nuts at each joint and I figured I'd give it a try. I'm very happy with it! It holds the phone firmly (it's a little tougher to remove the phone than the magnetic pad would've been, but I'm getting used to it). It doesn't sag at all in fully extended position when I tighten the wing nuts. I can move it around and it will stay still in it's position. It looks a bit "old school", like one my mother would use in her office 4 decades ago, but I don't mind.... they were sturdy back then too! I was guessing there'd be a high tech improvement by now. In any case, I recommend this long-arm holder!

It really work's for the purpose.I bought for a friend in a Nursing Home who's not able to hold cell phone and is true to the quality and sale, I love it. 100% satisfied.

it feels a bit cheap but till i can afford something better this is a great product. Definitely getting what you’re paying for. It does the job. I personally use it to post videos.

This is overall my favorite desk mounted camera arm for a great price. Easy to use and dial in, holds steady, has tension springs in the arms to combat weight of phone or camera. Arms have joint tension knobs that can be dialed in to where the arm sections will move but hold steady after you manipulate it to where you want it.If you use this to record desktop footage or any other footage for that matter, you wont regret it. Best purchase decision I ever made for my budget recording setup.

Good reach and possibly balanced for a heavier devices than my Note 10+ phone even then one has to wonder why the main bolt at the elbow with a "wing nut" for user adjustment has almost no "grip". As I tried to use it to lock the device at a given angle it never held; it just kept moving too easily. Eventually, it broke in my hand without ever reaching a point where it had some effect. They need to put "rough" washers not slippery ones that defeat the purpose.Basically the springs are not well balanced for light units. I had to remove one from the lower section and flip its anchor point completely to reach the elbow instead of the base. On the upper limb, I had to remove one completely. After replacing the broken bolt myself, the unit functions reasonably well.The clamp to hold the device is very tight and quite awkward to use because it's a two hand operation to keep it open, making it difficult to insert the device without risk of damage. Removing often leads to the device falling out.

Well made and articulates very well for overhead Zoom meetings and my watercolor painting demonstrations. Great value for what you get.

Does not work well for overhead filming or viewing, does not hold positions well. Its just springs and a few parts you can tighten but even after you position and tighten everything up, it will still move out of the set position.

Sturdy, strong, looks good, and has a long reach. The Go pro mount works great with my 1+7 Pro and allows for any angle I can think of.
