all buttons work well except for the power button, the finger print reader works 90% of the time

This case did exactly what it advertised. The only complaint for me is that it was too slippery for my liking. On the reverse side, it made it easier to get in and out of ones pocket. Looks really good too

About an hour after I ordered this case I read the review. Tried to cancel order. Too late. Case arrived on time. I slipped my phone in and true to the reviews side buttons didn't work. I decided I might as well try to make it work so I took a small razor knife and cut from the front of the case to the back around the case buttons and now it works fine! ( If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem)

This case was a great price, the case feels nice and comfortable and not bulky at all, it did not make the phone feel much bigger and the rubber is soft enough that it doesn't slide out of your hands easily but its not to soft either. its just right. its durable, I dropped my phone on the concrete and had zero damage . I would recommend this case that is looking for a slim nice looking case that fits perfectly

I like this case. However, the side power button was too hard to get to work at first, but then it became too easy. I barely have to touch the edge and the phone goes to sleep. Which is annoying in the middle of use. Secondly, the volume control buttons are too low profile. I'll often need to fiddle with my phone in the dark (or simply change the volume without looking at the phone) and it's hard to determine which button is which. It looks like a solid case and cool design, but after a month of use, I'm switching back to my Caseology case.

The case has the worst side button functionality I have ever experienced.Kiss consistent screenshot pic taking goodbye. That process of power/home button working is maybe 20%.Do you like adjusting the volume? Well, you’ll get over that soon. Press increase and it goes down. Press down...maybe nothing. Press up or down and it’ll start doing one and then the other. Hey, like unknowingly turning your volume when you put in your pocket so you can miss calls/msgs? Check! This case has you covered for that.How about turning your screen off...? Are you okay with that working 25% of the time? Then this is the case for you my friend.Now in all fairness I’m only 4 months into use with this case and I’ve only had cell phones since my first bag phone in 1991 so it could be me get acclimated to this whole case technology. I do know that sometimes, if I pull the case away from the side buttons it makes them function until the next time I pull it from my pocket so there’s that helpful tidbit.Save your money. It works perfectly fine if you just wanna stand around and drop your phone from 10 feet. Other than that, and you’re SOL.What an incredibly inconsistent, non functioning phone case. Fire up the labs, get with R&D and do better.UPDATE- the seller would like me to delete this review. They state their small and this hurts their sales. They’ll send me a $25 Amazon card only AFTER the review is deleted. I asked to reverse that offer, send me the card then I’ll delete, and I got a big NO.

The case looks excellent, the overall fit is also excellent, and it has just enough texture to make it easy to hold. Knocked one star because the case does not always allow the power button to be actuated - certainly not a deal killer because I do not use it much. Curiously, unlike the power button, the volume buttons work perfectly every time.

Bought this for my 12 yr old son who needed a new case to protect his hand me down iPhone 8. It is very sleek, slim, and protective. He's had it for a month now and the phone has survived the few drops that have occurred. It has a nice texture/grip so it doesn't slip out of his hands when he holds it. I personally like it a lot too.
