For sculpting smaller figures, this stand is the answer. Easily adjustable and well constructed. I highly recommend.

See the wire figure in the image that advertises the product? That is the scale you will want to work in. Anything smaller and the stand becomes light and wobbly. Anything much larger and the stand just gets in the way.

The item is good but not great. It’s shaped great in that it’s proportioned. But you’ll come to find out that the clay will tend to slide off. Not on its own but as you apply pressure. So I’d recommend twisted double wire all over the body. Also the washer/ring in the center must be buffed to not slice a finger. Mine would easily cut my finger. But my main concern is the bottom. The whole wasn’t tight enough. Perhaps it needed two bolts. I needed to screw the stick further before tightening the bolt, or the bolt was useless. So two is needed. But that would also mean they would have to drill a whole large enough for the bottom bolt to not hang lower then the wooden plate. therefore the wood can sit flat without dancing left and right as you need to concentrate. So you might have to work twice as hard to sculpt due to jiggly mistakes. I think it’s all common sense things by now so 3-4 stars should be given for quality of design. But if it’s something you could work with…… the product does what it does.

It’s a moveable work. You can bend the arms and legs, wrap it with material, wire, etc. Love it!

Waste of 30 dollars on very cheap aluminum wire and a poorly cut base. The pole from the stand is supposed to screw into the back of the armature didn't. When they clamped the center piece onto the armature, they warped the whole and made it impossible to use with the stand. Had to rig it to work for a project due. Also my order was cancelled the first time without any notice. After 2 days of waiting, I checked the status of the order and it was just cancelled so I had to reorder it. Never had this happen before. Will never buy this again. Complete waste of money!

Two of the three threaded pieces on this weren't fitted properly. Wing-nut was completely worthless. Other required two sets of vice grips to get them to connect. For something so simple they really did a crummy job.

Support would not stay put on upright. Figure slipped down and caused damage to the piece. Was very frustrating to work on. Kinda sad that this didn't work out better. Was fine in every other way, unfortunately the slipping part was a big miss. :(
