Soviet Asia: Soviet Modernist Architecture in Central Asia Hardcover – May 21, 2019

What I appreciate most about this book is the authors found the time, took the pictures and took the financial risk to put this excellent book together. Not many of us out there that love this old Soviet stuff. The book is small, I expected a big picture book, but non the less its packed w/ photos and some commentary. I hope to see some of these buildings in person one day but until then this book will do fine.

Excellent photographs about a subject that is relatively unloved in the West, but is an unique snapshot of a period in time.
