WOW! Searching for 2 Years, Finally Found Something that Works!
I am a 68 Year old woman, and I take a lot of supplements, some of them because I can actually feel the results (like magnesium for leg cramps or melatonin to help me sleep, etc., probiotics and krill for intestinal health), others because I am deficient (Vitamin D for one), and others because I have researched them and although you can't necessarily tell immediately, they have excellent effects (antioxidants keeping me well or helping me fight something coming on, others helping my digestion, or heart or brain health, etc.), and quite a few other supplements, like several for my arthritis and general inflammation.Nevertheless, for the past 2 years I have been waking up tired. I used to wake up energetic (despite being low thyroid, which is the only thing I take prescription medication for - T3 and T4) and ready to start the day. Not tired. So I have been searching for something to help change that. And of course, I was having what I assumed were typical memory issues that older people suffer with, like not being able to find the exact word I wanted, or the name of an actor I could picture, and so on.Doctors have been useless, and blood tests have not been helpful either. They say idiotic things like, well, now you are getting older . . . .So when I heard about L-Serine, I thought, well, I already take phosphatidylserine and pregnenolone, so I will research L-Serine. I checked out the research on the National Institute of Health, and liked the idea of a neuroprotector, and especially appealing was that they found it helps with sleep. I have an overactive bladder, and it's not terrible in the daytime, but at night I wake up about every 2 hours although I am usually able to get right back to sleep. But I have of late also been sleeping 9-10 hours. My Fitbit says less, I suppose because it is counting the time I am up. Still, it's a lot of lost time, at least to me.After taking two capsules twice daily for less than a week, I was AMAZED at my results! Suddenly, I could wake up after 7 or 7-1/2 hours WIDE AWAKE, no longer tired, thinking about going back to sleep and begrudgingly staying up after nine or ten hours in (and out of) bed. I am absolutely ecstatic.It has been 2 weeks now, and I am still thrilled, and expect to continue taking this supplement. It works for the memory!
L-Serine does work at 4/night. The only reason for the 4's are due to ... it does take a couple of weeks to feel a difference; they do make you want to use the bathroom quite a bit until your body gets used to them; and they are on the expensive side due to needing to use them continuously.When using, they make you feel if you are picking up information in a file cabinet you haven't used in a very long time. It gives you a the benefit of remember things that you forgot you had remembered.... it helps with focus to finish tasks that you could not complete before; you feel years younger in the brain instead of feeling 'aged'.I did take it right before going to bed but stopped taking that close because it gave too much energy and could not sleep; but when I took from 2-3 hours before bed, I started to get somewhat sleepy, but not enough to stop doing what I needed to do. By the time I went to bed I was very sleepy and was ready for the Z's and could sleep a good 5-6 hours before a bathroom break. This is good when you could only sleep 2 hours before there was a disruption in your sleep. Love L-Serine and I know over time it will get better and will get more hours of sleep as it covers all of my serine needs.

quality product ..
I have been using L-Serine for a few months, and I find it to be a quality product. I can say that I feel somewhat more “plugged in” to what is going on around me, and with others. Having read about the effects of L-Serine as an Alzheimer’s preventative medication, I will continue to rely on the product.The product seems to be working for me!

Great Sleep Supplement for Sleeping All Night
This has been one of my favorite hacks, 2 capsules before bed. I find I sleep consistently and all through the night instead of occasionally waking up and having trouble falling back in the middle of the night
