I bought this for grooving for panels, and drawer making.The blade was delivered very quickly, well packaged etc.The blade appeared perfect, good weight etc.Sadly my saw has a captive riving knife which won't descend far enough to clear the cut, so I had to return the blade and order the larger 180mm blade.The exchange was problem free and I had the replacement larger blade on hand in little more than a day.

Had my eye on one for ages.Works a dream but i have to remove the riving knife because the blade diameter is small.

There are lots of ways to cut rebates/dados and so I didn’t really see the need for this blade. I would either use a router or table saw . However, my table saw arbor cannot take a dado stack and my only flat topped blade has a kerf of only 2.8mm. So while this blade”s 6mm kerf reduces the number of multiple passes required, I didn’t think it would make a massive difference. I purchased one anyway and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was to use. It cuts really cleanly and if you have a lot of cuts to make, it can do so quickly and repeatedly.

The blade was primarily used to produce box/finger joints, using a backing board resulted in minimal tear out.Used a bush to reduce the blade bore size down to 25mm, yes I did remove the riving knife and safety guard( I have a 254mm table saw) but decided it was safe because the work piece was clamp down on a home made jig. Hope this helps.

I purchased this item to do some slotting work on my spindle moulder this saw do the task well, I’ve found the that CMT brand of tooling is good I have other tooling of this make which has done quite a lot of work and still going strong

There is nothing to dislike about this blade, it's well made and fills the gap of the stack dado blades and at a fair price. I would like to see the same blade with a wider tooth maybe up to half an inch, other than that perfect for a blade with flat top teeth.

Achetée pour être montée sur une scie sous table (Dw745), et usiner des rainures de 18mm de large (5mm de profondeur) en 3 passes dans des tablettes mélaminés de dressing, et y intégrer des profilés LED. Le résultat est parfait, je suis entièrement satisfait

Ottimo disco a denti piatti, che lascia canali perfetti pronti per l'uso. Sul banco sega De Walt da 210 si riesce ad avere una profondità di circa 45mm, più che sufficienti per incastri su travetti 9x9. Ma l'ideale è usarla per fondi con multistrato da 6mm, basta una passata ai fianchi e ai top per creare una scanalatura perfetta, e sono pronti per essere assemblati. Certo, con la fresa e la guida laterale, o con il banco fresa, si riesce a fare la stessa cosa altrettanto bene, senza doversi sbattere a cambiare la lama, e si possono avere larghezze di taglio variabili solo cambiando la fresa, ma per lavori ripetitivi, per esempio per fare una decina di cassetti, alla fine si risparmia un sacco di tempo. Quindi ottima lama, anche se non indispensabile. Per quanto riguarda la qualità, uso lame e dischi CMT da anni, e non ho mai avuto problemi.

Utilisé sur une toupie axe de 30mm, qualité et propreté de coupe. Je recommande.

Lama professionale, riaffilabile.La lama secondo CMT è da Toupie o Scanalatrice, tuttavia avendo RPM max 10.000 è installabile anche su banchi sega "job site" con albero da 30mm. Con le dovute cautele ovviamente perchè ad esempio bisogna essere nella possibilità di rimuovere il coltello separatore (nel mio caso ho dovuto fare una modifica al mio GTS 635-216).Tuttavia la lama è ottima per scanalare perfettamente. Certo montandola sulla toupie sarebbe anche possibile usarne di più in combinazione (come riporta la confezione). Ma comunque è un bel passo avanti per chi ha macchine con lame dallo spessore ridotto per poter fare dei canali da 6mm senza dover fare 3 passate di lama, che fra l'altro non generano mai un fondo del canale pulito non avendo denti piatti, cosa che questa lama invece ha.Insomma: soddisfatto. Ora realizzare gli scassi per i fondi dei cassetti è un lampo, e si fa tutto al banco sega cambiando semplicemente lama.
