Brilliant value.
Super little smart phone, really good value, bit slow compared with much more expensive models, but then, that was expected from honest specs given. Had it 4 months now very pleased.

Worst phone on the market. Avoid or regret!!!
As a long term Nokia fan I was pleased to see this phone arrive on the market for a very good price. That’s where my happiness ended and my amazement and disgust at such a poor quality product began. This has to be the slowest phone on the market. I previously owned a CAT S30 which ran on android and was a good bit of kit. What sold the Nokia to me was the claims about its camera and picture quality.....RUBBISH! To take a simple photo involves getting your subject to sit motionless for anything up to thirty seconds while the lens does a ridiculous amount of focussing and freezing, subsequently the blurred image is sent to google photos as the phone has no gallery. Whatsapp images cannot be downloaded without downloading a file manager, the result of which leaves the memory over three quarters full before you start. In terms of usability I would score it one out of ten. Opening an app is more often than not met with five or more minutes of inactivity and a frozen screen. To say the phone is rubbish would be inaccurate as it’s not that good! I have resisted the temptation to throw it through the window only because I intend to return it for a refund. Do not purchase this phone as it WILL let you down when you need it, Nokia....Shame on you!

Nokia
Bought this for my son it's not as fast as I expected and also the keyboard is hard to press . Doesn't have the newest games on play store. Quite disappointing overall

Decent basic smartphone
I bought this phone for my technophobic Mum, who was previously using an ancient Doro smartphone to move her off feature phones.I'm impressed by how thin the phone is - and the textured back is both comfortable to hold and anti slip. It really does look quite good, and is nice and compact to hold. I really like that for less than £100 I've also been able to get her an Android Pie device in a relatively vanilla UI, that will come with at least a couple of years of security updates. The Go versions of apps also seem pretty lightweight - and it comes with Assistant Go, which will be really good at gently introducing her to the world of the internet - she was asking it questions about the weather and more, and it was snappy enough to respond on WiFi.That's not to say the phone is fast. When all the app updates were downloading, even with a quad core Mediatek processor (which appears to be pretty old judged by the process node), the 1GB RAM was definitely holding it back and it's no multitasking phone. The speakers are tinny and it wasn't fast to charge. There's less than half the 8GB capacity after you're set up and running too - probably not an issue for us as she'll only take the odd photo, but all things worth considering. But as an entry level smart phone with just the essential features that she needs, it does well - HD calls on WiFi, a bright and clear IPS screen and the trust that there will be regular updates makes me feel this was a decent device. You can probably get a lot more phone for not a lot more money, but for us this hit the brief well.

Good £70 phone
The rear camera is not very good and the phone feels incredibly light almost like a toy, but to be fair it is not bad for a £70 phone

Don't expect speed
Oh it is painful to use if you are used to premium hardware. Good looking and recommend for very light use

Brilliant
I have never had an andriod phone before as being well over 21-( not a phone Tech)- I have always just had a plain Nokia- thought I would give this a try and I am amazed how easy it is to use-I personally wont be using it for apps or google play so cant comment on this- it is one of the best phones I have had at a good price and would not hesitate to recommend it-only downside battery life not one of the best

Can't use in 2021
So bought this phone, to be used till I get a replacement phone, but to be honest using this Nokia 1plus is so frustrating, it kept crashing , also it's so slow, the screen is terrible. This phone is only really intended to be used to make phone calls and use watts app that's it . It won't open pdf files, won't support some apps it dose not have the ram or space to hope with today's life style I e using emails on the go shopping online , watching videos video calling online banking. But it is very slim , very light but that's about it .
