Fun even when you lose, but difficulty ramps up
I played quite a few games of this with my children (6 and 9). The youngest often struggles with losing. However, because you add progress stickers even when you lose, and unlock new features, it didn't bother him at all when we lost - which happened often. The basic game is simple but still fun. It would get a bit boring, but the unlocked features add interest. The difficulty does ramp up quite quickly though. At first, you're adding 1 zombie per round, but can remove 2 if you're positioned in the right place. But after the first couple of unlocked "powers", you're adding two zombies every round and not guaranteed to remove two. So at best your maintaining, and more likely slowly getting overwhelmed. You can always just choose to leave the unlocked features in the box though.

Good game
Good fun for all ages of the family easy for small children to pick up and has more difficult tasks as the game progresses.

Possibly the best board game this 45 year old has ever played!
Zombie Kidz has captured the imagination of our family more than any game we've ever played. The concept seem simple at first (even our 5 year old enjoys and understands it), but as you progress and open more envelopes, the additional rules make the game far more tactical. The progression system is the thing that really got us hooked, but even now we've opened all the envelopes we'll still be revisiting the game from time to time.I would recommend only awarding yourself a brain sticker after you've WON a game. I can see why the makers tell you to take one whether you've won OR lost - the progression system means that there are a couple of difficulty spikes a few envelopes in - but it's worth a try if you fancy an extra challenge. All in all, possibly the best board game I've ever played, and I'm 45!

Different and very fun
This is very good. My 8 year old loves it. He played it with my brother and I and we had fun too and it can get quite strategic. It was nice to all be on the same team too

Absolute blast with my 10yr old...
This was a big hit with my kids. My daughter loves the fact its a legacy game and she gets to unlock new features (by opening envelopes). It plays quite fast (never longer than 15min).It's a lot of fun. Easy to pick up and learn.I have a huge boardgame collection but this keeps making a return to the table. It's challenging enough - We don't win every time.Definitely recommend this. We are already planning to buy the sequel when we've finished (Zombie teens evolution). They can be combined or played as standalone games. It's brilliant. 🙂I didn't post pics cos I didn't want to show any spoilers. 👍

Syper games fir young ones
It's an ever evolving game that let's you open some packs every few games , which gives you more options and play variety. It's ok to loose and kids love this one. It's the best way to reach board games for them. My 5 yr old loves it so much.

Fantastic Board Game to get the kids working together
This is a collaborative game that changes as you play it.We were looking for things to give us family activity time during Covid lockdown and I'd read good reviews. The base game is really simple and straightforward; my 8 and 6 yr old boys had it sorted after 2 or 3 games. It encourages them to plan ahead and collaborate by discussing how we're all gonna defeat the Zombies. Then as you play the game more and more, it slowly introduces extra components like Super Zombies and Special Powers, which evovle the game play in a very accessible and logical way.At 15mins a game (give or take) we often ran through a few back to back. The boys love it and we've played maybe 20 games over 3months; which is a huge success if you ask me.Buy it, enjoy it and don't let the Zombies take over the school!!

Zombie kids for the win!
I don't usually bother to write reviews but this game really stood out. It completely captured my kids' attention and they have played it for hours and hours. It's very simple to learn and they loved that the game evolves with sticker badges, new rules and powers as you complete more missions. What I especially loved is that the game is a team effort to keep out the zombies so this has been one of the few games where the children work together and do not argue or fight about who lost/won/cheated! Excellent game. My children absolutely love it. Top marks from me as a parent too.
