Works beautifully.
I've used this to mark all my golf balls and there is no doubt that my putts are rolling truer and my lines are better. I've definitely made more putts since starting to use this. Once I've lined up the ball with hole using the line all I have to worry about when I'm over the ball is getting the right speed. Also, if you watch golf on TV note how many players use a line on their ball to line up their putts. You'll be hard pressed to find any pros who don't use a tool like this. If you want to shave a few strokes off your round, this tool will help you do it.

Easy and Usefull
Easy to operate and provides a way to mark a straight line on a ball for putting. This does make it easier to line up your ball, putter, and cup and improves putting.

It's a gimmick and I now have golf balls with multiple black line around them.

Does it Job
Easy to use. Use it to find the their axis of rotation on your golf balls. You'll be surprised just how far off the manufacturer lines are. Definitely improves ball performance of your are at that level.

Check - Go Pro
The item came well packed...came with batteries...had my doubts but this things works great...I tested four different manufactures ball...not one of them had the equator correct...Not any of the markings even came close to the real equator that the Check-Pro easily shows you...ink pen worked fine and was easy to mark the ball. If you just easily touch the ball while it is spinning, the line that is left creates small checks instead of a solid line. When you line it up and roll the putt you can immediate get a confident feed back that you put a good roll on it because you can see the line. Ground is frozen here but I can't wait to get to Florida to check-out how well this equator adjustment helps. I certainly would recommend this product.

Bad design for securing battery compartment.
The battery compartment cover is secured with a screw that goes into a nut on the back side of the main housing. Screw wouldn't come out because the nut wasn't secured properly and simply spun. Had to cut off bottom part of the battery cover to install batteries.
