Works very well, very happy with my purchase.
This tool does exactly what it's supposed to do. I had an issue with my 1985 Vmax, one carb was popping and missing, at the urging of some awesome forum members I ordered this as a first step to resolving my issue. I am VERY glad I did, this tool works as advertised, and is far cheaper than going to a dealer even once for a carb sync. The needles do jump wildly on the bike if you don't adjust the little plastic flow restricters, but once those are adjusted, they settle down and it's a breeze to get them synced up. If you need a carb sync tool, don't hesitate, get this one and get your engine purring again!

They suck!!
I used it according to the instructions and it ran like crap! The needles were jumping around and I tried averaging the jumps but no go.I took the carbs off again and held them up to the sun and synced them by equalizing the creasant moon the same shape and it ran great!Buy the one with the liquid! Not these!!!

it cleared all of them fine..
The tubes/adapters that come with this are complete cabbage. Checking everything out when they arrived, threaded all of the tubes into the carbs, went to check if my choke linkage would clear the tubes, yes, it cleared all of them fine... or so I thought, went to remove them all and realized one had snapped. Mind you I had purposely moved the choke linkage expecting it to hit the tubes somewhere, so I was being careful and cautious... but it wasn't enough to prevent snapping it off in the carb.Bought 5mm Motion Pro (08-00130) to replace the tubes for I think $6, they work great, much better quality. You might have better luck with the tubes. The vacuum gauges themselves seem to work just fine with the anti-jitter valve things that steady the needles but I have to frequently open the valves and then tighten them up to get the needles to true up and then steady again. Vacuum syncing is naturally a little finicky so this is to be expected.

well worth the price
This worked very well for my 1981 GS750E. Some people say that the needles bounce around a lot and I would have to say, for this model at least, that was absolutely not an issue. I used the dampener valves initially, like the instructions said, to minimize the bounce down to ±1 div and then when I revved to 2k, which is the manf recommended rpm, the needles were all stable. I work for a metrology company so when I can I plan to actually calibrate these gages with my pressure cal equipment and see how good they are but for now it made a huge difference in how my engine runs.

There are far better options for far less money
The gauges are way out of calibration and can't be adjusted to zero, I was barely able to adjust them all to line up at around 10 PSI (BAR?) but I'm not sure I can trust the results. The housing, tubes, and brass fittings are decent quality and the small plastic fittings to reduce fluctuation seem to work well. I'm not sure if this is indicative of the seller on amazon or the company that makes the unit but it seems like I got someone else's return or their QC is seriously lacking. I took to long to try it out and missed the return window or I would have returned it, I'd recommend either finding a fluid filled type or making your own for far less than what this costs.

Works perfect, bike runs great now.
I purchased these synchronizers for my motorcycle with much criticism from friends and family who informed me that if you "bench sync" carburetors properly that the gauges are a waste of money. After I did the standard bench sync, my bike ran much much better, and the critics were quick to point out that they were correct, that I really did not need the guages to do it. I went ahead and hooked them up anyways, and I found that even though I had synced the carburetors pretty good by eye, they still had a long ways to go to be truly in sync. Using the gauges I managed to get the bike running even better than before and I gained quite a bit of extra power over my bench sync. I will be using these gauges for a long, long time.

Junk
Couldn’t zero. Quality wasn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend. Spend the $ on a better set go save the headache.
