Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker

Got this at a great price and it's brilliant. The cheapest FitBit in the range but does exactly what I need it to. Counts steps, calories burnt and allows me to enter challenges with my friends. Simple but effective.

I got this for mum as she's going to try and be more fit. I wasn't expecting it to be quite so small and it also didn't have very good instructions (mum knows nothing about tech). But once it got working, it was great. It even survived a round in the washing machine!

This is the perfect Fitbit for someone who is into walking. I bought this to use before my wedding and lost over twenty pounds. I ado bought one for both of my parents. The Fitbit app is very good for monitoring your steps and weight and links up to the "my fitness pal" app so you can input your food intake. The battery probably doesn't last a whole six months but is easy to replace and you can purchase them fairly easily. This is much better than having to charge every night or two like the next Fitbit in the range, the Alta. I put this through the washing machine by mistake once and it was perfect afterwards so they are hard to break. Overall, I am really pleased with this Fitbit and think the software make it more effective than a run of the mill pedometer.

This is the third Zip that I have bought in the past year (I lost the other two; they are very small).This is a very convenient, accurate tracker BUT there is one problem and it's a huge one. Every Zip that I have had had required days - yes, days - of effort to synch it to my computer and phone via bluetooth. When it works it is excellent, but getting it to synch is one huge pain.I've had the current one almost one week and still can't get it to synch. I've done everything recommended, including turning the PC/phone/Bluetooth off and on, resetting the Zip...but still no joy.My next tracker will definitely not be a Zip.

Neat, simple little device. Compares well to Fitbit One but you can't recharge it, so I would have got another One if I had known this as within a week of receipt the battery had to be replaced. UPDATE. I've added another star as I read another review that complained about the battery life and Fitbit Support Team gave some troubleshooting info which I followed. The low battery message has disappeared so it looks like the problem has been solved.

Bought for my wife as a surprise Christmas present to replace an old mechanical step counter. She was delighted with it and was pleased that I got one with a display so that she can see how she is going during the day when out.Very poor instructions enclosed but it synced easily to her iPad where all the knowledge needed can be found. Our daughter has a Fitbit and linked in on line so they can see what each other has done every day and have the completive element between them.We bought a separate wrist band so that it can be worn like a watch. This is preferable to the clip supplied and overcomes the problems others have had with the device falling off and being lost. I'm surprised Fitbit don't supply or offer one as an accessory.Others have said the Zip is small. That is a positive benefit. It would be large and ungainly on a female wrist if any larger, although some may prefer that.

I absolutely love my Fitbit. I think it is superior to a normal pedometer because the app is very motivating. You can connect the app to my fitness pal which allows you to input your daily food intake. This is very motivating. I have had a couple of these now. The battery does not last as long as six months but is easy to change and they are easy to find. I have put the Fitbit through the washing machine twice by mistake and it survived! I bought this specific one for a friend as I think they are brilliant.

Really pleased with this. It works so much better than many other, more expensive ones I've tried, and just took a gamble on this because it looked good value for the price, and I also had the safety net of Amazon's return policy. It is accurate! I've tested it on several occasions, and it's always been fine. If you're looking for a simple pedometer, and not something that tells you everything from your horoscope to your inside leg measurement, then I would fully recommend this.

The product has been constantly ridiculed for its battery. The stock battery dies after 5-6 months of usage. I would recommend to buy the replacement battery from the airport or some trusted shop.I bought batteries twice from local stores and not once was able to get it to work. Thought its a complete waste of money till i gave it another try.Now it is working as expected (got batteries from a store in Dubai). Also, please ignore the calorie count as they are counted based on a simple algorithm and are not tracked. However, step count accuracy is by far among the best in the industry.If you are a beginner who is interested in knowing how active you are during the day, it is a sure shot buy!

This worked well initially with the battery that came with the product. The battery was suppose to last for 6 months, but within 4 months I had to change. When I bought a new battery and put it as per their specifications, within a week it started draining and battery got exhausted. Thinking, there is something wrong with the battery, I have bought from a different place and put. That didn't last even few days. When I went to the Internet checking for reviews of this product, everyone is blasting it for it's poor battery behaviour. Fitbit has no way to give feedback and it appears inspite of so many people banging on this product for several years, they have not bothered to either respond on how to overcome or fix it. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product and strongly recommend not to buy it.

This thing does one thing very well. It counts steps very accurately. So it is one of the best pedometers out there. Its ability to accurately track calories burnt is a joke. I don't care about much of the other bells and whistles attached with the activity tracking software it is tied with (web based, app, based etc.). So if you want a very high quality pedometer then go for this, it tracks your steps extremely well.

its worth every penny... a simple no nonsense gadget for measuring steps... pretty accurate... i love the app.. it keeps me accountable in terms of walking... it has various challenges which keeps me motivated... synced with myfitnesspal. starting to loose weight with regular excercise and diet regulation.i would like to put in word about the amazing customer care service of fitbit. after about three months of usage, the clip was broken. as my fitbit was in warranty period i tweeted them about the situation. they got back to me within an hour. sent me a replacement clip promptly with no extra charges from US. i was amazed with their commitment to customer satisfaction. They have won a customer for life

Praktisches Teil, das macht, was es soll. Schrittte zählen, Strecken angeben, Kolorienverbrauch anzeigen. Positiv: der Clip lässt sich gut befestigen, er sitzt kein bisschen locker und ich spüre ihn den ganzen Tag nicht. Er zählt für meine Begriffe zuverlässig und insgesamt recht genau - für den Alltagsgebrauch reicht es. Wer Zentimetergenaue Angaben will, der sollte einen GPS Tracker wählen. Super ist die Verbindung via Bluetooth zur Handy App. Das funktioniert mit wenigen Klicks. Manko: Mir fehlt die Beleuchtung im Display, dafür gibt es den einen Stern Abzug. Ansonsten: Empfehlenswert.
