Review: A lot to Like - I had been searching for a wide and long slot toaster for some time, as this as always been my toaster of choice. It is quite easy to pick up a square 4 slice toaster but I think their size encroaches too much into your workspace. Also, as I find that toasters have a short lifespan, as at some stage a thin slice of toast can get caught in the mechanism and once it or some item you use to retrieve it, touches the element, thats the toaster banjaxed! Some big name brand toasters cost over a hundred pounds and they can go exactly the same way. I have had this excellent toaster 2 months now, (the right time to give a review I think) and it has performed well. The slots are extra wide,, so can take the thick bread I like. Some buyers have commented that it tends to toast only the middle of the bread. This is quite true, due to the size of the elements but I have always done my toast in two stages, (due to the different types of bread I use), turning it once it has popped up the first time. This then gives an even browning. If I had to be picky, I would have liked a toasting rack to sit on the top for croissants but that would probably have made it more expensive. It is actually a very good price. I would recommend it highly.

**Q: Does this actually toast the bread all over?**
A: No, misses about an inch but, they all do. Find a toaster that does it properly, better man than me. £80 or £10, they ay are all rubbish. Get a cheap one and hate yourself less.

**Q: how wide long and deep are the slots**
A: The slots are wide enough, but not long enough for normal sliced bread. Can only toast 2 slices not 4

**Q: where is this product made?**
A: Don't buy! It only worked once then everytime put on tripped my electric.  Sent back then I ended up buying one from a physical store.

**Q: Exactly what width of bread/muffin/etc. does the toaster handle?**
A: Full length off plain loaf or uncut bread yakes all size off breaks

I had been searching for a wide and long slot toaster for some time, as this as always been my toaster of choice. It is quite easy to pick up a square 4 slice toaster but I think their size encroaches too much into your workspace. Some big name brand toasters cost over a hundred pounds and they can go exactly the same way.
