Excellent little alarm clock.
We purchased this alarm clock in mid-November 2019 and it's been keeping time wonderfully ever since. Right out of the box, we skimmed through the manual and noticed it was basically just like every other alarm clock we've had over the last 40 years (with the exception of no built in radio, something we weren't looking for). What this clock does have is a beautifully large, clear and adjustable display. We really like this feature.Setting the time / alarm was a snap and didn't require instructions, but they are supplied (they're also available as a .pdf download on the Amazon product page should you misplace them - see User Manual after Product Information). One thing we noticed in the more critical reviews was that people were having trouble with the battery backup, stating it doesn't work when the power goes out. This isn't necessarily true and might well be a misunderstanding. In our experience of owning many battery backup clocks over the years, the clocks will go blank but keep time with a power outage. Once AC / DC power is restored, there is no need to reset the time / alarm on this clock. We have lost power twice and relocated the clock from one room to another (and then to another). The clock and alarm functioned just as the manufacturer states in the owner's manual - it goes blank while retaining the current time, and displaying it accurately once power is restored. For more clarification, this information is found under the "battery backup" section in the owner's manual, as follows:"BATTERY BACKUP1. Under the battery power, the display will go blank andthe preset alarm will not go off, but the time and alarmsettings are saved.2. Once the batteries are removed and with an interruptionof power, the TIME and ALARM need to be reset whenthe power comes back.3. Do not mix new and old batteries; Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium)batteries. Please dispose of old batteries in a responsiblemanner as they may leak."The clock features a jumbo display, 0-100% sliding brightness setting, time format setting of 12-hour or Military time, an illuminated and large SNOOZE button, a nightlight dimmer, 3 USB outlets, one of which is used to power the clock, the other two can be used to charge cellphones, tablets, etc. (output: 5V /1A-2.0A) -- it's a good idea to consult not only the owner's manual of this clock, but any other devices you might be interested in charging through this one to make sure it's supported. It's a great little clock, easy to operate, and well worth the money.

As Advertised!
Nice, simple, easy to read/easy to set up, 100% brightness adjustable single alarm clock. I had been using an old Sony Dream Machine self-setting alarm clock. Then all of a sudden one day the display seemed way too dim and in sunlight I could barely read the time. So I got this as a replacement and while there's an almost generic ultra simple quality/look to this clock, it's easy to read, easy to set up, and easy to control the brightness of the display. Maybe it's my old eyes but I swear when it's at 100% brightness the display is definitely white. But when I dim it slightly it changes more to a pale blue. I personally prefer the pale blue and it's still plenty bright and the numerals are almost 2" tall. I also like the fact that it has 2 USB charging ports in the back and a battery backup for remembering the time (it won't allow the display to show but once it's plugged back in it remembers the time and alarm settings). For the price this little clock is tough to beat. Furthermore, it doesn't have an annoying hum like the Sharp large display clocks. If there's one criticism it's that the supplied USB cable is a bit on the short side. But that's really the only criticism of this clock and it's a relatively minor one. It's nice to purchase a product that does what it says it's supposed to do.

A Great Alarm Clock!
Right off the bat, I was immediately impressed by the environmentally sustainable and sleek design of the product's packaging. I believe most, if not all, of the contents of the packaging materials are recyclable. Great job!The instruction manuals and materials for the product are very well laid out for the consumer to read, process, and follow. I love the simplicity of operating this product. This new clock is sleek, compact, and easy to process on how to operate it properly. The three USB slots are very welcomed. The way to change the alarm and regular times are very easy, since the manual lays it out very well. I love the 24-Hour default format, so I don't have to fiddle with a regular clock to make it 24-Hour.The night light is really cool, since it's a part of the Snooze button. Before bed, all you have to do is press the snooze button one to make it a white nightlight, and then another time to make it an orange nightlight. The colors aren't overbearingly bright, so that's a relief for sleepers with sensitivity to bright lights. You can also adjust the brightness of the nightlight and backlight, which I think are really cool additional features.I would recommend this product to anyone I know, and I hope you all feel the same way!
