The easiest thing you will ever install
I chose this unit to replace a 26dbm radio that had been in service. The AirOS software is amongst the easiest to use, configure, and fastest to reboot. Almost everything has been thought of to ease the job of the installer from a feature that provides both visual and audible feedback for antenna pointing to a split gasket and nut with a large enough hole to pass an RJ-45 connector so you can add connectors to cable before installation. The AirOS is common between their products, so once you get used to it, using any of the Ubiquiti products gets easier. The unit comes with a 90 degree adapter which is most considerate. The thing literally is a bullet. It's a one piece, light, straight object that you just screw into the antenna and you're done. Nothing could be easier. The need for a feed cable to go from antenna to device is eliminated. Everything fits well and the materials seem like they will last a long time out in the sun and weather.Performance so far has been excellent. The Bullet is mated to a 24dbi parabolic antenna. The other end is a PBE-M2-400 Ubiquiti Powerbeam. The link I've installed the 2.4Ghz unit on is only about five miles, so it's nowhere near the limit of its range, but it has outperformed every other type of equipment I've used for this range. And it could not have been easier to install.Without a doubt, Uniquiti is going to be my first choice going forward for this kind of equipment.

It is a great device. Very fast and reliable
It is a great device. Very fast and reliable. But I had to do a bit of research to configure it correctly. The tech support was so-so. They were ok on chat, but had a tendency to just send me a link to a document. I finally had to tell him to walk me through it. But I think he had trouble understanding what I was trying to do - use the Bullet to connect to a network on our boat, which is a pretty common use case. The device itself is mostly well-made. The reset button is hard to reach, and on the first one, broke into the device. Amazon sent a replacement immediately, and I was able to get the new one configured properly with some online help from friends. The device doesn't have any obvious way to mount it. One has to engineer his own solution. I wanted to mount mine like a standard antenna mast, but that took a while to figure out. Would be nice if it had a standard 1" thread on the bottom.

Solid equipment works well
UPDATE: Going Strong in very hot environment. My 3rd Bullet M2 2 of the 3 working fine. I had one brick for no reason was in actual service less than a month. Was past return and vendor offered a replacement but with all the shipping and penalties it was not worth the bother to return. Using this one as a repeater receiving WiFi and sending video cam feed through the LAN. Paired with a Grid antenna and no problem pushing video 400 ft to main router. I am using it in a bridge configuration. My other is on a boat and is config. as an AP I like the versatility of this unit. You Must make sure that your antenna connection is COMPLETELY watertight! Only a drop or two working its way into the connector can brick the unit. This unit requires configuration! Basic config. skills are required and offered on line for basic setup. That is the reason for 4 starts. Logevity of unit is 2 years for one and only a month for current purchase.Firmware update was required but was straight forward and just a few clicks and it was done!I like the Aluminum case (It is NOT Titanium) for heat transfer. These units do get quite warm. I recommend you tune the TX down as low as you can go still maintain an excellent signal. They are default to max transmit. Lower transmit power will let the unit run cooler and may last longer but that is only my opinion.

10 Months of use, now its less than a Bluetooth device!
I had seen where they had been shutting down. I got 10 months out of mine. It seems to operate on the lan like always it just doesn't have any transmit range. Seems to receive ok, but it has less range than a bluetooth device at full power. I have rebooted, cycled power, turned it off, Ill take it off the house tomorrow.I have a Netgear WNDR3700 that did the same thing, just one day it went to almost no transmit range, at least it was still useable as a wired router. After sending it back the replacement was not a Titanium, it was the cheep plastic version. They did not fix my BulletM2 Titanium and send it back, they sent me a lesser plastic device.

The problem with this model is a dumb device with no visual indication to what is going ...
It was DOA, The problem with this model is a dumb device with no visual indication to what is going on inside. The other model has lights, I like to packaging but setting up a radio without visual indicator is a bad idea, I returned it.

I should have bought the plastic one!
I should have bought the plastic one at least it has lights. I will be replacing two of the Bullet Titanium units.Cons: No external lights, Gets very warm, Has a large learning curve, needs to have a easy and advanced mode selectable and does not, Not programmable over wifi, have to keep changing IP address and settings on laptop to use the unit in my RV. Reset button does not work! Its ok, but the learning curve is about 4 hours on YouTube, is only 600mw or 28 dbm! I have to most likely return it to get one with a working reset button!

Best free wifi system!
Best wifi reciever yet!Ive tried many wifi recievers from alfa from the r36 to network adapters, my goal was to receive free internet from a public place bout half a mile away. This works great, it recieves my signal and converts it to working internet. I have it plugged into my home router and i get about 1/2 megabyte/s download and about 4megs upload, so i still have to fine tune and ajust my antenna but its a very stable signal at -80dbi or less. Theres also snow out right now so that may be decreasing the speed, any recommendations please comment, but do far the best reciever ive used, just make sure you see the video titled "connect to a remote ap in router mode" by ubiquiti on YouTube. I also recommend a 24dbm tp link wifi antenna, (best on amazon).

Worth the money. Tough in bad weather.
I wish these things were cheaper, but man they work well and can handle our crappy Idaho hardcore weather swings. I buy these and a parabolic dish over any of the Ubiquiti dishes with it built in because they're just tougher. Never had one crap out yet, where I've had a few of the dish all in ones fail.
