Baby Birds

This is a good size bag for the cost. I am feeding baby Quaker parrots with this formula which mixes up nicely. Just add warm water and you have an instant food the baby birds love. They are screaming right before the next feeding for more. Makes very strong, alert, and healthy babies. I will be getting more of this brand soon.

I have previously used a different brand of formula for years(exact), but noticed that my babies always seemed to get less plump after pulling them from the nest, not unhealthy just less fatty, this spring I tried four brands of formula with 4 chicks all the same age and this formula kept them the most plump and healthy. Far different than the brand I used prior. It doesn’t smell like a cherry scented car air freshener, it does not clump up when mixed with water, the chicks like it, and it is reasonably priced.

I’ve purchased a total of 5 times in the last couple years. I have successfully raised over 100 Sun Conures, Green Cheeks and Parrotlets. I mix with non flavor Pedialyte instead of water. By mixing with Pedialyte it adds electrolytes and boosts their immune system, in my opinion. Great price

I find this stuff easy to mix, and it seems to go further then other formula I have bought. But most importantly, it's helping raise strong healthy birds. I'm pleased with it. I got an amazing deal, and this item deserves more then 5 stars. It has an ok smell, and my birds seem to enjoy it, and digest this formula very well. I wanted to give an update on this, since I used if for my newest clutch of baby green cheek conures and quaker. I truly believe this bird formula helps with having chubbier babies. My clutch before this was pretty thin and they were on Kaytee Exact, and this time around using Tropican, I feel the extra weight on them. My Quakers usually turn out to be 70 or 80 grams at 4 weeks... well this last baby quaker (only 1 born in clutch) just turned 4 weeks and he is weighing in at 126 grams. That's a huge difference, and really makes me believe this formula is better for my birds.

First, I will say that this product raises some healthy, happy babies. I have no problem feeding it to them except for the lumps getting stuck in the syringe. I have had birds and baby birds for over 20 years, so this isn't my first rodeo. I'll always use another brand until the last baby I got where the breeder use this brand. My only complaint about it is no matter what I do,I cannot make a batch without lumps. I'm not talking lumps the size of basketballs. I'm talking little lumps that you wouldn't want your cake. I stirred with a spoon,I stirred with a fork, I used an electric hand mixer and still got lumps. I used the hot water, I used warm water, I tried putting in the powder in a little at a time, I tried putting it on all at once and adding the water. I cannot make it lump free. That said, the babies didn't seem to mind that much until they got a bit older, then you could see them trying to figure out what it was with their tongue. As first mentioned, is a very good formula that fed out some healthy baby Green-Cheek conures. Very healthy, happy, active, curious, brave beyond their size, Green-Cheek Conures. If it was my choice I would have preferred the other formula I'm used to, but it was a mixing issue it wasn't a nutrition issue so that's why I deducted one star. All in all it's a good formula for baby birds, and I recommend it.

Great product and company. We didn’t need the bag after we received it so I wanted to return it. The company actually sent me a refund and did not want me to send the bag back. So I may donate it.

Description of this product is wrong. It states that is 4.4 pounds. It clearly is not. The site states 3 sizes 4.4 pounds and 4.4 pounds and 11. Pounds it is a good product. Sizes are misleading. Be sure before purchasing

Tres bonne pâtée pour .mes oisillons Calopsittes qui l'ont bien apprécié, facile à préparer, se mélange avec de l'eau du robinet tiède et ne fait pas de grumeau !!! Je la recommande fortement !!

At the price I pay from the suppliers this is pretty close and with next day delivery so Amazon wins. Birds thrive of it and we use a lot so the big bag is better value and convenience for me. As described exactly. Baby parrots love it

Très bien ! Bonne texture, très bon rapport nutritionnel. Pas de produits de boulangerie. Pas de grumeau . Utilisé en fin de sevrage pour une conure.
