Excellent action camera, but NOT COMPATIBLE with SanDisk 64GB SDXC card.
This camera is a fantastic value. I got FULL 1080p30 and vibrant colors in a small, water-resistant housing that's compatible with all manner of GoPro-style mounts, and it all came neatly packed in a very professional fiberboard box. Having two batteries I can simply swap out, rather than the camera being out of service while the battery is charging, is actually very convenient, though I have not actually seen the battery run down appreciably over the periods of time I've used it to record video.I can only really make two complaints about the camera:1) The user interface is a bit obtuse and it beeps a lot. The first day I used it, I found that some of the videos I thought I had recorded weren't recorded, or weren't saved, for some reason. It can be hard to tell what a particular series of monotone beeps means, and it would help if they were more different. That said, with the on-screen user interface explained to me, it wasn't too hard to figure out the rest.2) This camera is NOT compatible with 64GB SDXC cards, or at least not the SanDisk class 10 card I originally got to put in this camera. Don't get that one; get two 32GB SDHC cards. Record with one, and put the other in your PC's SD card reader to edit. Instead of the 64GB card I intended to use, I ended up testing this camera using the Samsung 16GB class 6 SDHC card I took from my phone, and it recorded 1080p30, no problem, so presumably you can use any SDHC card class 6 or better.

Dazzne P2
The media could not be loaded. The Dazzne P2 is a very good, reasonably-priced sports action camera that surprised me quite a bit. I had not heard of Dazzne a few months prior to my purchase, but while researching affordable cameras such as the SJ4000, I saw a head-to-head video comparing the P2 to three other cameras. In it, I thought the P2 looked much better when it came to color recognition and shadowing, plus the sound variance was impressive. After picking it up I thought the same thing, too, plus I could buy 4 to 5 of these for what your major camera types cost.Something to note before beginning, this touts a 3mp video chip. I note this in the video and I also note that this is typical amongst brands, which it truly is. Action cameras normally tout a 3 - 5 MP output when it comes to recording and higher numbers when it comes to pictures. Here, for example, you have a 12 MP picture output, which it does well with. Others note the same type of performance as well, only many of them do not note it on the box they come in. I thought that was good of Dazzne, because they do note it at the beginning of their box's camera description.Looking at the outer aesthetics first, I really like the rubberized body of the P2. Other cameras have your "sports grip," and that can feel uncomfortable over time. The P2 has a rubberized body that is sturdy, can take jarring well, and that feels good while also providing grip. Out of the different cameras I have tried, this was one of my favorite exterior designs.Looking at the P2, everything is easy to locate on the camera body. You essentially have a three-button designs, with the left button operating power and forward search for menu, the right button selecting options such as record and also selecting options within the menu, and the button on the front of the camera allowing you to scroll backward. I like the option of two-button scrolling because I can forward or reverse without difficulty, and I like the fact that I can do so with only one hand. You also have a slot on the left side of the camera that houses your Micro SD card and USB/HDMI connection, and the right side of the camera has a compartment for your battery. One thing I want to note is that you need to be careful with the SD slot cover; I always place it inside my case when it is not in use and lock it tight so I do not lose the thing. With regard to camera features, you can select record mode, car mode, picture mode, playback, and settings, allowing you to control a multitude of features ranging from FPS, shooting modes, looping, and much more. Touching on some of those: Under options, there are options for video parameters including RES, FPS, and FOV. Capture parameters allow you to set the picture parameters to include MP up to 12 and there is also a burst mode, allowing 3/s to 10/s. Capture settings allow you to control everything from WB and quality to time stamps and LCD brightness. There is a timer setting as well, plus a car mode that allows you to also adjust EV, Date Print, Screen Saver, Beep Sound, White Balance, Movie Capture, Image Rotation, and more. The P2 comes with quite a few accessories, plus additional items for attachment in your car or on a range of items. As noted in the video, I hook mine up in the car, and I like the swivel mount because I can choose to face it toward me if I get pulled over or if I want to record myself. You have two batteries in the set which is really nice to have, with each lasting around 1.5 hours or so. The charger the P2 comes with seats both batteries, and charging is indicated by either a blinking or a solid red light. You can also hook it up via the USB cord to keep recording for longer durations, which I have done with my car or with a Powerbank charger. You can purchase more batteries as well, in case you find yourself wanting to carry even more. The waterproof case is also nice, with it sealing very well. I wish this came with a case that had venting for sound, too, but the P2 does pick up sound in the case, just not that much. When driving, you can unhinge the case and leave it slightly ajar, which does help with that. When out or wearing the camera, however, this does not help. That said, this can be a pro as well because you do not have to worry about small impacts, sweat, or rain.I like the P2 model a lot and hope to pick up more Dazzne products in the future.

Camera is great, however batteries are not charging, pretty much useless.
The camera is great, however I've have an issue with the batteries not charging. I've tried charging both batteries in the dual charger, one battery int he dual charger and even charging the battery while it's in the camera. I only get about 2 - 3 minutes of filming before it flashes "low batter" and then shuts off.

Worked Great...for 1 year!
Takes good video for the price point. My biggest issue is I have only had it for about a year an used it sparingly (maybe 3-4 times). During my most recent use, the power button stopped turning the camera on and off. I now cannot connect to my computer, the shutter button does not work and the only way I could download my recent videos was to take the memory card out and download directly to my computer.I contacted Dazzne to tell them about the issue and they recommended I upgrade the firmware however the power button does not work so I cannot update the firmware. As of now, I have a $100 paperweight which is unfortunate. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because when it was working it did great!I would not recommend this camera to last a long time based on my experience, but if you just need a camera for a few uses and don't want to spend the money on a GoPro, this is your camera. If you expect it to last, you may be disappointed like I am.
