RED Heart Super Saver Yarn, Pumpkin

This yarn is to help finish a project that I have started. I like that there is not a dye lot on this particular yarn. It helps not to have a dye lot if the project requires more yarn than originally ordered. Some colors in this brand can feel a bit rough, but the color gold is soft. The other colors of this yarn that are a bit rough become soft after washed. I find this yarn to have knot resistance. It is not a splitting yarn and I like its appearance. The size of the yarn is worsted weight also referred to as 4. This is a great yarn for making blankets and afghans. It is durable. I had to adjust the color of the yarn in the photo to give a better idea to the actual color although it is not exact. It is a pretty gold color.

This is such soft, great for beginners, great for a lot of different projects and the colors are beautiful. You can wash this too. Makes a nice warm hat. Compatible for making many things.

I don't know why I try other yarn. This is the best, strong, normal size, easy to work with, holds color and is more durable than other yarns. I always come back to the Red Heart yarn & enjoy the experience of using the yarn so much more.

I was honestly a little bummed when I realized I paid almost twice as much for this yarn the first time I bought it. Thankfully I caught it on sale the second time and stocked up for my temperature blanket project! The colors are beautiful, the yarn is soft, and it works up nicely with good stitch definition. I've had no issues with splitting, and the color transitions look great in my blanket. The photo shows part of my temperature blanket in progress, and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. If you're considering this yarn for a blanket or other large project, I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye out for sales. Great quality and gorgeous colors—I'll be buying it again.

This super saver yarn is ideal for some projects, but it's not the highest quality yarn. The carrot color was perfect for my grandson's pumpkin beanie. The yarn thickness was consistent, and there was minimal splitting. Though I only used a fraction of the skein, I didn't encounter any knots or tangles, and the center pull strand was easy to find. The stitch definition was good. The texture, however, was pretty awful. It was rough and did not glide smoothly through my hook. It's probably best suited to toys or garments that will not be worn against the skin. I would definitely not use it for a baby blanket or baby lovey. If I were making a child's beanie that would be worn regularly, I wouldn't choose this yarn.

I love this yarn. It’s a beautiful color it’s suitable for beginners. It doesn’t not the quality is good when you wash it. It becomes very soft. It’s very fun to work with especially when you mix it with other colors.
