It is made of quality material, it hold's a pretty big device (4.5") , it's comfortable but there's velcro sticking out
I bought these so that I can carry I can listen to a play-back that I check out from my library and protect it from damage. It is an electronic device that holds audio books, and it's about the size of an MP3 player or iPod.Pros:* It is made from quality material, and I feel as though it will last a while with regular use.* The pocket held my (4.5") phone; although, it just barely closed, I just wanted to see how big of a device it can hold ,and i know it's not meant to hold a phone but it did!* The strap seems pretty comfortable on my arm, while doing random work around the house without becoming undone; additionally, running doesn't seem to dislodge the arm band, but I think using weights might since your flexing you muscles back and forth on your arm. There is an athletic band I saw while searching that is meant for athletes which seems to stay put as it contours to your arm; however, it's price is no where near this price which is dirt cheap! If this doesn't work well when I start using the gym again (only during college hrs.) I'll update it.Cons:* There is an some velcro that people keep complaining about because it sticks out and snag your clothing. I didn't understand why until I saw the velcro on both sides of the strap.(I included a picture) I notice though that if you close it a certain way both sides will actually stick to the band and get rid of that problem; however, it deduces the size to it's smallest size and so if your arms are bigger it won't fit. My arms are not very small though at about 12" and although tight it still fits so I image it will fit a 11" arm just fine. (Not really worth a star removal especially since looking at it you can remove the velcro by cutting it out or un-stitching it)Recommend:Yes, it does the job and is made of quality material and the only draw back is that you have to remove the device to use it because you can't see through the mesh very well, but you already know that by looking at it; however, it can be a deal breaker for some. For $3 and change though it's a good deal and nice to at least have as a backup.***update:I have been using this for a while now and had to remove a star because I noticed it actually did start sliding down when I got really sweaty; additionally sometimes when I would turn my arms a lot the little hard black plastic piece would turn sideways and kinda pinch me. I still like it and I don't know if its because I've been using it it so often but I don't think it should be pinching me ouch.

Okay for LITTLE arms
If you have little arms, and want a secure way to hold your phone or audio player, and you don't need to touch it again for long periods of time, this is a decent cheap little arm case. But if you like messing with playlists and such while you run or workout, forget this and pick something else. You have to pull the phone out completely to do anything with it.Another reviewer mentioned the rough velcro on the armband, which I didn't understand until we receive ours. Now I do. When the case is strapped onto your arm, the rough velcro is against your body. That's probably okay in the winter or with a t-shirt on, but would be very irritating with a tank top where the arm band (velcro) comes in contact with your underarm skin.I am an adult male with average arms and I can barely strap this thing on over my shirt sleeve.Truth be known, we bought two (me and wife) and use them occasionally. They are good to have, and not worth sending back, so we'll keep them - but mostly they just sit in a drawer.

You can't beat it for the price!
I bought this for 44 cents, with shipping included, it was still less than 3 dollars.PROS:--THE PRICE--It does just what I wanted it to do...it allows me to wear my ipod while I'm exercising, or just around, and provides some protection for the ipod.CONS:--I do have to re-adjust it somewhat frequently to keep it from slipping off, or from feeling too tight--the parts of the band that encounter the velcro frequently are slightly fuzzy/fraying, after only about a month or so of use. I think it will still last a good while, though.--It would be nice to be able to see the controls/screen of the ipod while it's in the pouch, but the design doesn't allow for this.THE BOTTOM LINE:I'm glad I bought it. I would recommend this to a friend. I expect to have to replace it in a year or two.

Exactly what I needed.
I live alone and pretty remote. If I fall outside, I may not get discovered for many days. Much of the time, the clothing I wear has no pockets, so I rarely carried my cell phone...which, by the way, I only have for emergencies anyway. With this armband pouch, I have my cell with me all the time now just in case of an accident. And it is large enough that I also have a small ID wallet in there with ID, and emergency information. I don't know if this will save my life, but it could, and for the price, it cannot be beat.It also has a place where maybe a pen could be put in. I have ordered a 2nd Streamlight Nano Light to have in there to help if ever caught in the dark.

Does the job
Maybe it's me, but my I-Pod Touch is very sensitive. I bought this because the prior arm band I used must have touched the IPOD in such a way that frequently the songs would jump from one to another after a few notes. While this style is somewhat better, I still have the problem from time to time. I also found this style a bit difficult to adjust to a good fit on my bicep. It keeps sliding down my arm (and I do NOT have skinny arms).Price was right!

Great little case.
I am a petite female so my arms are thin and I had a difficult time finding one of these arms bands that fit okay. This one did, although I had to go to the end of the Velcro strip. The only down side is that you cannot see or press to change songs or modes (like to call someone) without taking it out of the case. No big deal though. Still would recommend for the price.

works ok.
it's cheap, it holds my phone/mp3 player and fits. it'd be nicer with a bit longer wrap around the arm. it's very inexpensive.there's velcro on both sides of the strap. it literally chewed my shirt apart while running a half marathon. i was pretty ticked off. i found i could carefully cut the velcro off with a utility knife and a sharp pair of scissors.did i mention it doesn't cost much?
