Spigen Rugged Armor Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy A40 - Black

I didn't especially want a Samsung, but was given one by work. Alas it came without a case and having had various Spigen cases for my own personal handsets for several years I picked up this one for the A40.The GoodStylistically its very similar to a type I have purchased before, dark grey, carbon esque back panel with minimal styling and a rubber surround on the housing. It's a nice to look at handset.The build is solid, there's mainly plastic but with some rubber for helping with hand comfort whilst holding which makes a huge difference.It's very low profile, gripping the phone excellently but without looking like half a brick is in your pocket. It adds very little extra size to the handset.I haven't dropped the phone yet but I have dropped previous incarnations of Spigen Cases and they have always protected the phone.Sometimes the case plastic breaks, sometimes it holds firm's. Obviously if you hurl your phone to the ground in the style of a supermarket toddler tantrum, you may have an issue. But your general knocking off desks, falling off the bedside cabinet or kitchen table, this case I expect it to fully protect.The could be better -There's nothing of note for this case that could be noticeably improved.Overall a sleek, well fitted, comfortable case that looks fantastic and offers good protection to your pocket window to the world.Highly Recommended.Five Stars.

This is my second Spigen case, I had one previously for the iPhone SE which was excellent providing protection from a few drops with no damage. This one for the Samsung A40 fits very nicely and I actually find the side buttons easier to press than without the cover. The phone is easy to hold in this case and less slippery. There are cutouts in all of the right places for the touch sensor and cameras.I also like the carbon fibre effect at the top and bottom of the rear of the case, this gives it a bit more interest than a plain black case.Overall, excellent value for a good quality and good looking case.

Fits well, doesn't bulk up the phone too much and looks good. Only negative is that the matt finish is quite slippy in the hand. Otherwise, pretty satisfied with quality and value for money.

Ordered this after being disappointed by another highly rated case. I have not dropped my phone yet, but other reviewers seem confident. The case is rugged, fits the A40 perfectly, and seems very protective. It also adds some-well needed heft to the phone. The texture of the case feels a bit..off, but I'd call it a 5* case regardless.

Fits perfectly. It's medium thickness so does add a little bulk but phone feels safe. Quality product though, which I put down to good quality plastic. The case doesn't pick up any marks or scuffs if in your pocket with keys etc.

Spigen does the business again with a beautiful, sturdy yet elegant case really improving the look of my a40. The texture is a gorgeous slightly shimmery Matt black with Porsche style carbon fibre sections on the back. The buttons feel lovely and cutouts are precise. A chamfered raised lip protects the screen from face cracks should you drop it. Don't waste your money on cheap cases just go straight for Spigen as their cases are the best by a country mile.

Bought many phone cases over the years and have to say this ranks very highly.Good, close fit, minimising dust getting in behind the case.Smart looking yet sturdy in its manufacture.

I purchased this case to protect my works phone. Being a tradesman - most of the works phones I have had have smashed, cracked or just simply stopped working.The case seems ok, it’s plain, simple and offers a bit more protection to the bare unit. Only time will tell if it serves its purpose.

Het hoesje is minder robuust als verwacht. Het is een simpel tpu hoesje zonder harde delen. Ik ging uit van een combinatie van hard en zachte materialen. Ook vond ik de platte imitatie carbon vlakken niet mooi. Verder een goed hoesje voor die prijs.

Desde que descubrí esta marca, siempre he comprado sus fundas de teléfono y tengo que decir que nunca me han fallado, la calidad/precio sin duda es buenísima y da igual que teléfono use, ya que lo compré para distintos modelos y marcas, siempre me ha protegido el teléfono móvil perfectamente y sin problema.Encajan bien y son buenas, no necesitas más.Espero que sirva de ayuda, gracias.

Eine sehr schöne Hülle, die passgenau für das Handy ist.Das Handy fällt nicht aus der Hülle heraus, auch bei Schütteln. Vorne am Bildschirm steht die Hülle etwas über, sodass der Bildschirm in Kombination mit einem Panzerglas sehr gut geschützt ist. Die Knöpfe seitlich lassen trotz der Hülle sehr gut drücken und übersetzen den Tastendruck perfekt.Ein Minimakel ist, dass die Aussparung für den Fingerabdrucksensor zwar passgenau ist, jedoch bei größeren Fingern gestaltet es sich etwas schwierig, den Fingerabdrucksensor gut zu erreichen, sodass es manchmal mehrere Versuche braucht, um das Telefon zu entsperren.Aber eine Top Hülle für einen Top Preis. 👍Absolute Kaufempfehlung

Produit de qualité exceptionnelle: j'avais déjà acheté une coque en 2016 pour un Samsung Galaxy A5, et cette coque pour un Samsung Galaxy A40 est également d'excellente qualité: la coque s'ajuste parfaitement et maintient bien le téléphone, la protection antichoc est assurée, de même que la protection de l'écran grâce à un rebord surélevé ne gênant en rien la manipulation. La matière de la coque est très agréable au toucher (effet un peu "velouté" et "soyeux") tout en étant facile à nettoyer et ne permettant pas l'incrustation de la poussière) et assure une prise en main idéale avec une très bonne accroche ("grip").Seul petit bémol, cette coque est bien sûr entièrement opaque, on ne voit donc plus la couleur originale du dos du téléphone, donc elle ne conviendra pas aux personnes désirant pouvoir admirer la couleur d'origine du téléphone, ils devront naturellement se tourner plutôt vers une coque transparente...Pour tous les autres, je recommande cette coque sans hésiter, elle est vraiment parfaitement adaptée et idéale pour le Galaxy A40, et le rapport qualité-prix est je trouve exceptionnel !

Anche stavolta per il nuovo smartphone ho optato per Spigen, memore delle esperienze negative passate anche con marchi blasonati o con gusci originali. E ho centrato, perché la custodia ė perfetta. Bella, quasi lussuosa, con due fasce posteriori al carbonio, ottimamente protettiva ma non invasiva. Calza in maniera incredibilmente perfetta. Ottimo gripping, lo smartphone resta ben fermo dove lo poggi, anche ai piani inclinati. Piacevole al tatto, non é mai rugoso. La cosa più importante e difficile, le aperture per obbiettivi, sensore impronte, altoparlante, presa cuffoa, presa Usb, microfono, sono perfette ed anche eleganti, con smussatura lucida che contrasta con il satinato del tutto. Perfetto anche l'azionamento dei pulsanti, come se non fossero protetti. Infine, spedizione velocissima, bella confezione, e....... incredibile rapporto qualità/prezzo. Imparate da Spigen!
