This is one of the best things I have done for my herb cottage, lets in natural light and allows the heat to be released when I open it in the afternoon - easy to install!

These are a big improvement over the old acrylic bubble skylights. Construction quality is nice and the packaging is excellent. Extra bright light through the prismatic material and natural color from the ambient daylight. Quieter than the old skylights.

Arrived double bubble wrapped for protection! Perfect condition. Installed easily on curb on roof. Looks great.Only bummer is I wish I would have put two in the bathroom instead of one.

I dont like the fact that the telescopic handle does not come with it and that is not disclosed at the time of purchase, or did i miss it?

Beautiful.The only issue is that you can not remove the screen.So I had to cut the screen out.

The instruction manual consists of a sheet of paper with a picture showing this being set on a roof curb. No details of any kind. There is a pin that holds the top onto the lifting mechanism that fits loosely and it fell out in shipping. So, the good news is this came out of the box as two not-so-heavy sections. The bad news is the pin had slipped under the insulation of the panel and I only found it when it fell out in moving the panel to temporary storage. I will add a zip-tie around the narrow part of the pin to keep it from falling out in use.The socket for the opening pole (not included) is a hex but the pole I have for the other skylights has a hook. The hex socket comes off easily and I will make a loop replacement so I can use my hook pole. If you don't have a machine shop at your disposal, you will need to buy the correct pole. The photo is the loop I added to allow use of my existing pole.The screen doesn't appear to be removable, again, no detailed instructions. I guess you vacuum this from inside the house or go on the roof, remove the panel lid and vacuum it from there. ???edit: The hinge is fine, I had looked at it quickly before.

Building a home, bought this to put over our living room. Never opened the box. Builder says these are NOT to be used for our tin roof. Guess I bought them too soon because I have passed the return window. Anyone want to buy? Still brand new in box... Sad that I cannot talk to anyone about this wasted money...
