OLLY Protein Bar, Peanut Butter Chocolate

I have had these bars for a few days now and I can honestly say, this will fill you up enough if you missed a meal. It's portions are just right so you don't feel like you have to eat too big a bar or too small.Although Olly offers a few different flavors, it's actually hard to decide which one to get. On one hand, there are flavors that sound amazing, but as a first time consumer, I was hesitant to try things outside of the "norm" stuff. This left me to default to the chocolate option, whatever they may offer. It would definitely be great to offer a variety pack so that consumers can try out the different flavors and possibly get more of the flavors they like. I would definitely have wanted to try the others, but at about $17 for 8 bars per flavor per box, that's going to cost quite a bit.I have had many protein bars before, and Olly is the only one that don't leave a weird or artificial aftertaste. If you're looking for a sugary protein bar, this isn't for you. If protein bars had a "light" version, this would be it. Enough flavor to taste it, but not too much that its overwhelming.Would I buy it again? Sure. For what it is and how convenient it is to get, I would definitely buy more. But until they come out with a variety pack, I''ll just stick to flavors I know.

Olly has done it again, this time with protein bars and these sure are delicious! They're my new favorite grab-and-go bar for all of life's situations.These should be nicknamed 'Mood Boost Bar' instead of 'Slim Boost Bar' because boy when I get hangry in the afternoon they're the perfect treat to hold me over. Currently sitting at my desk dreading my 5:30pm workout class and the Olly Protein+Slim Boost Bar is the only thing keeping my stomach and mind straight.In addition to a work snack, we bring these with us on long hikes or road trips and they're the perfect size to keep us going. We LOVE that they're gluten free and have no artificial sweeteners - so healthy and you feel healthier too! I would definitely recommend that you give these a try! I can't wait to try all of the other flavors!!!

As others have said, these bars taste quite good. However, you can still taste the characteristic protein bar flavor in these. I will say that the texture is excellent and I like how these are thinner top to bottom and wide like a cookie, so you get less of that chalky feeling in your teeth with each bite. All in all it is a more positive eating experience than a standard powerbar or something similar. I put the flavor of these on par with Zone bars, which I think taste quite good as well.I recommend these to people who enjoy a healthier meal replacement bar, but don’t like the texture of most bars available.

I've tried several protein bars on the market and as far as flavor goes these are some of my favorite! I feel like a lot of protein bars are super dry, but these are more like a delicious chocolate brownie than a block of protein powder - just what I was looking for. I especially love the chocolate peanut butter! My coworkers all tried them before our tennis tournament and everyone was evenly split between chocolate peanut butter and salted caramel chocolate as the winning favorites. I am intrigued by the lemon flavor, will have to try that next!

These are seriously delicious. It's under 200 calories and has 12 grams of protein, so it's super filling but still light. Perfect for before or after a workout. Can't wait to pack these for my next cross-country flight, so I'm not stuck with bad airplane snacks. I tried the salted caramel, but can't wait to taste Peanut Butter too.

I love these bars, but dang they're pricey. It was cheaper to buy this big package on Amazon than individual boxes of 4 at my local target store by a few cents.

I bought the caramel flavor and surprisingly wounded up really liking these bars. I'm always skeptical of protein bar because they are either too dry, too artificial tasting or have a weird texture. Given the sweetness I tasted, I was very surprised to see it only had 3g of sugar! Most protein bars that achieve the same level of sweetness are usually at 10g+. with 12g of protein + only 3g of sugar, I can definitely see myself buying more Olly Protein Bars.

I'm used to protein snacks that taste like cardboard so these were not disappointing. They are drry and crumble easily. They are crunchy - with a dried chopped nut texture. I'm not buying more and so glad I only ordered 1 box.
