BELLKids Bike Tires

I was in Walmart looking for replacement tires for my daughter's bike and--where are the racks of tires? It's evident I have not changed a bicycle tire since my BMX days many moons ago. Now they fold them up and put them in a tiny box. When the Walmart associate led me to tires, I was thinking, "He doesn't understand; he's showing me inner tubes." Well I felt dumb.As it turned out, neither an indie bike shop (tried them first) nor Walmart had white 20" tires, so I whipped out my phone and—of course—Amazon has them. They were a cinch to install (don't forget the inner tubes) and like another reviewer said, these appear more substantial with knobbier tires than what came with the bike. Wish they were made in USA, but other than that, my daughter is back on the pavement and happy!

i knew something was wrong with these white tires the moment i unfolded them.they appeared to be deformed with a misshapen section.i've used the black ones of these same size many times before without issue.the first tire gave a bulge when inflated, removing it showed it had a crack on the inside casing along the bead. the second one was not cracked, but would not seat properly on the rim, always a low spot on one side or the other. after many attempts of slowly adding air and trying to seat it, you could one side correct but as soon as you did the opposing side would go out of line. spent hours. returning both. I am returning both in utter frustration as the bike lays here waiting for the next pair.

My daughter wore a hole through the original tire on her princess bike. It was surprisingly hard to find a replacement in stores, particularly in white. This tire matched the color of the front tire very well, and while the tread is significantly different, my daughter doesn't seem to mind.The advantage to the beefed up tread on this tire is that it looks to be holding up much better than the original tires. I'm hopeful that we won't wear through this tire and need to replace it again. This tire was a more than adequate replacement, and we have been very pleased.

These are good tires for the job since 16” bikes are for smaller children. I like the comp3 tread pattern. The treads are a bit soft but it’s not really a problem since both my kids are still on training wheels. When they get older and are harder on their tires I’ll probably go with a different brand but they work for now and the price is right.

Perfect fit and a very good tire for my kid's bike. Consider checking the inner rim of the wheel to ensure that the rubber liner has not worn, prior to replacing the inner tubes and installing these tires. I found that the old tires, tubes, and the rubber liners were all deteriorated on the bike. I replace all three and am exceedingly happy with the performance of these particular tires.
