I stumbled upon this book quite by accident (?). As soon as I read the first chapter, I was hooked. I have been practicing spiritual manifestations for over thirty years. I started out praying for parking places to test the theory that I could manifest. After a few years, I decided that I wasn't playing fair with all the other drivers out in the world so I quit. By changing my request to a most benevolent outcome, I no longer had that problem as the other persons were also to receive a benevolent outcome. The ideas in this book and the other two completely changed my views on trusting angels or spirit guides. For example: yesterday I requested that I would have a benevolent outcome beyond my expectations before I left my driveway. When I got to the first destination, I found a parking place where I could pull forward when I left. (I usually have to circle the area for any parking place.) From there I went to a cafe where I usually have to park a block away. There was a place in front of the cafe. On to Walmart where I was in and out within fifteen minutes--no waiting in long lines. And I was able to find everything I needed quickly. Not until today did I begin to realize just how much I was assisted by my personal angel. I recommend this book and Books II and III to anyone who wants to smoothly sail through life effortlessly with the help of other beings.

This book will literally change your life. There's 3 Gentle Way books so far and each one tells us how we can contact our guardian angels and get the help we need when we need it. You can ask for something as simple as finding the best parking place at the store and I've never seen it fail...some one backs out just as I am ready to pull into the most desirable spot on the lot! You can also request the big stuff too and let me tell you....it works! We can say these requests and expect great results. Asking or requesting the most benevolent outcome for a given situation or problem isn't hard to do....just remember, it has to be what is the most benevolent outcome for all concerned when you make the request. Then thank your guardian angels for their help. These simple sounding requests can bring about amazing changes in a person's life. You will wonder how you ever managed once you start doing these requests. Each book gives you so many examples of how to say the request and how to word it so you get the most wonderful result. It's awesome what will happen in your life. Buy these books and your life will improve so much you can't even imagine it. I urge anyone and everyone who wants to have a better life in every aspect of living...to read these books because you will not be disappointed. It's best spent money ever! Do it today and expect great things.....it will happen.

I am very interested in spirituality and angels, but most books seem overwhelming in the amount of things they expect you to do. This book is simple and to the point. You communicate with your angel through most benevolent outcome requests, which are simple and easy to do. I haven't had enough experience with them to know whether they really "work" or not, but the author seems convinced that they do. The book also includes a simple technique for saying a prayer and an "I hope" request. I felt the "I hope" section could have been done a little better, the author admits he hasn't had much experience actually using them and it seems like this part of the book is lacking. At times I wish it would have gotten into more detail about the actual angels and their relationships with us, or how the benevolent outcomes work. Overall a good book to have if you are interested in angels and I look forward to reading The Gentle Way II.

This book is amazing. I just have to start off as saying that I do not believe in angels. I purchased this book for someone who does believe in angels, but hates self-help books. Well, the title includes "A Self-Help Guide for those who Believe in Angels" so I figure I have a 50/50 chance of her enjoying it!So when it arrived, I thought, "I should probably check this out a bit, and make sure it's not too 'out there' for her!" But while I intended to look through the first chapter or two, I was completely unable to stop reading. Tom T. Moore's writing style is like you are having a personal conversation with him. I've never read anything like it. And although it is not a very long book, and not very detailed, it really doesn't need to be either! His writing style is just concise, and has enough detail that nothing more needs to be said.Now, mind you, I have not given this gift yet. I don't know how much she will like it. Also, at this point, I am giving her a *used* book, which is a little awkward! But since I only had a 50/50 chance of liking it (I like self-help books, sometimes, and this came with a high recommendation, but I don't believe in angels) and she has a 50/50 chance of liking it, the odds are pretty good that it will change her life, as it has changed mine.
