Tao Te Ching Paperback – February 21, 2012

This book is one for the appreciators of The Alchemist, The Prophet, and the like. Tao Te Ching is a book that simply historical and engages and won't let go.

I was looking for a specific version of the Tao this was not it, and sometime a bit confusing compared to the other version I have read.

I wanted Stephen Mitchell's version of this but this is just great..a small book meant for contemplation. Thank y'all so much.

The translation is very stilted and is not very user friendly in my opinion. I'll try it again at a later date.

This book shows the importance of non-being and taking a step back from ourselves and our lives to understand what's truly important and relevant.

This is a decent introduction, but it's the author's interpretation. It's not authentic. Some people may say that's not a bad thing. It is if you haven't read the authentic interpretation and translation by Skylight Illuminations and haven't been able to compare.

It was a gift for a friend in prison and it arrived safely so I'm very happy about that! Thanks!
