Day 1 - Wurkkos WK20
Day 1: Delivered 12Sep2019. Initial thoughts upon unboxing, sturdy, thick, feels heavy duty, nice and bright, cycles thru settings easily, threads seem machined to tight tolerances, seems well built. I purchased this to replace a Tovatec 260 that was twice as expensive and flooded 14 months after purchase in 90' of water. I like the knurled texture of the Tovatec better but the Tovatec is a bit too thin for my taste. The weight and circumference of this light feels better in my hand. Wish it had more texturing for grip. TBD if this will be a minor or major factor when diving. The head of the light is sealed and not to be disassembled. The only part you will/can remove is the battery cap which is a good thing.Took the battery cap off to get to the battery, the cap fits nice and tight. Double o-rings for sealing out water. Didn't appear to have any silicone on the o-rings or threads so I added some before reassembly. Attached the leash that was included, leash is fairly long (~12") and has a rubber hose for wrist comfort like most other dive lights.Included in box: light, 3000mAh battery pack, charger, USB cable for charger (although no plug) 2 spare o-rings, leash, instructions, packing bubble wrap.*I plan to add to this review after I've taken it on a few dives and hopefully a year post purchase.

More than expected. Great build quality.
Ultimately I thought this would be a mediocre run on the mill light with outrageous claims. What I got was a well built sturdy light with a responsive magnetic switch that worked perfectly. The battery was pretty close to claimed capacity (Normal for most LI-ION Batteries) which was 2847mah. The lanyard is truly meant for diving so it has the extra grip from the rubber sleeve while under water. I probably will never use it under water but if it ever rains it will be the light I grab. Being a domed emitter with a smooth reflector, this light has a larger hot spot with plenty of flood. It is plenty bright to see object well within your immediate area. I personally like the warmer tint, makes objects look more defined than a cool white. Colors appear brighter as well. If this light fits your needs I would highly recommend it. Solid little light. Great job Wurkkos!! Edit- Bought the 2000 lumen model as well and all I can say is its even more awesome. Output from the XHP35 is amazing. This this is built like a tank, not some cheap lightweight light from your local retailer. I highly recommend either or both of these lights especially if you hunt, fish or dive. Double O-rings are a great plus for waterproofing which you dont see bery often on other waterproof lights. Buy one of these, you will love it.

Bad Switch Design
Very rare for me to write reviews, but had to warn others about this one. The light itself is fine and I really do notice a difference with the warm white 3000K temp light as opposed to much higher blue-white color in most dive lights. Reds and oranges really pop underwater much more vibrantly than with other dive lights. But after only one dive the light has become completely unusable because the switch is stuck in the depressed position! Although I'm meticulous in rinsing my gear immediately following every dive, several days later I noted a considerable amount of corrosion around the switch and although I tried to clean it again before pushing the button it still jammed and now there's no way to dislodge it! Basically I just bought a spare battery, because I don't see any way for this light to ever be usable again. Very disappointing!

Nice at first
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This light seemed nice at first from the packaging, included replacement O-rings, 3000 mAh battery... during my second dive with it the light began to flicker every so often. See video of it happening on my desk. It happens on all brightness levels and the light has not been on for more than 2 minutes so I don’t think it’s the thermostat cutting it off.Maybe I got a dud, but test yours extensively upon receipt so you don’t miss the return window.

very bright
I just used this light in a cenote in Mexico. It is quite bright and once you figure out the on/off/brightness control it works great. I have not figured out how to attach to my BC. Does not seem to have a ring or obvious place to attach a lanyard. There may be one and I just have missed it. But it is comfortable to hold and I stuck it in the sleeve of my wetsuit so it flashed on whatever I pointed to. Once I got used to this method, it worked well.

Works As Advertised!
I needed a dive light that was reasonably priced, so I purchased this knowing the risks. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product, and I really appreciated the warm light which is less harsh on the underwater environment. I also appreciate the multiple light levels. The only negative feedback is that I am not a fan of push-buttons because I have a difficult time finding them when I have thick gloves. Otherwise, the dive light feels strong and reliable, despite being very lightweight.

Compact and bright
I wanted a flashlight that was durable, compact and bright - so far this one seems to be all three. Of course in regards to how durable it is, only time will tell. I love that it comes with a rechargeable battery. It has several levels of brightness which is nice to have the option so you can conserve your battery if you need to. The brightest level is very bright and I was impressed. I can not attest to it being waterproof. I do not plan to use it underwater but I like knowing that if it gets wet or dropped in a puddle it will not be an issue (hopefully). Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Reasonable dive light
So far it has survived one dive trip and a half dozen dives, to a maximum depth of 100'. I'd say the color temperature might even be warmer than 3000K, comparing it to some other warm white lights. The beam pattern has a quite hot spot in the middle, and then a dim wide beam. I found it quite adequate for a general diving light and worked well with direct vision, but it's not a nice uniform photography light and was hard to get acceptably lit and exposed images with my handheld camera, which I expected. For the price I'd say it's a solid value if it holds up. I'll update this review if it gives up the ghost after a few trips.

Very Direct spotlight
Will not flood the area, only lights up a very narrow spot. OK for looking at one specific object, but not for navigation or night diving
