Fit my new Canon 50mm F1.8 EF perfectly!! This Canon lens does NOT include a lens hood. If you are taking pictures outdoors or a very lit-up environment. This lens hood is a most have. The hood doesn't feel thin or very "plasticy". Feels strong and sturdy.Oh! I was even able to put it on "backwards" with no problems. So it doesnt interfere or take up addition space when I put either the lens alone or on my camera. In my camera back pack. Once I can get out and take pictures with it. Ill post and update.
