Intermatic RC4G Air Button, White

Replaced a 15 year old unit on a spa circ. pump. Suggestion: My button was in my deck and the hose to the switch hung down from it. When pulling old button out, the button separated in the hole. Finally fished it out. Suggest when installing the new button, you hook a piece of string to the air hose and tie it to the bottom of the button, above the threaded connection so you don't lose the hose down the hole if it comes loose when pulling the old one out.

Perfect fit ...Works great

Only 4 stars because it is replacing the exact same item that failed after 4 seasons. The rubber button behind the plastic button failed. Should have been designed with a chemical resistant rubber as it is intended for pool use.

Did the job

It doesn't hold up well. Broke after 1st month.

Junk!Product came apart. Button stuck down after just a few uses. The first time we thought it was because a kid pushed too hard so we replaced just to have the same thing happen again. The last time it came apart and the bottom fell down in the hole. We tried to fish it out because it was to far down to grab with pliers. We finally sprayed water down the protective pipe on the far side by the pump pushing tubing at the same time after disconnecting from that end. It allowed the nut to float to the top to be reached.
