Amazing phone for the price
My Wileyfox Swift was showing its age, mainly by randomly rebooting at an ever increasing rate. Time for a new phone. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a go. I have only had it a few days, but so far I am blown away by it. It is fast, responsive, the fingerprint unlock works flawlessly, the camera is OK (I use a DSLR when I want really good pics), and the battery life is a big step up for me. It comes with a nice rubbery case that slips over the back, which gives very nice grip - the phone without it is very sleek and slippery and I would drop it every 5 minutes. As others note, the slightly smokey colour of this case does rather obscure the lovely blue gradient cover I opted for, but I can live with that if it stops me dropping it. It arrived with Android 9 on, and so far I am very pleased with it. Astounding value when you look at the price of some of the premium brands. As far as I can see, apart from the lack of NFC which I am not interested in, I really don't understand what you are paying for on some of these other phones. The only thing I really don't like about it is the non-removable (and so non-replaceable) battery.

Excellent value and a nice phone
These are first impressions. Only 48h in.Getting it out the box and up and running took minimum effort. It connected easily to the house WiFi then did an update to bring it bang up to date.It came with a screen protector and a gel case.Speed is more than ample, but I don't game on it. Certainly faster than my Vodafone platinum 7. It's very light, has a nice clean look and feel. It doesn't feel cheap in any way. The coming weeks and months will reveal any issues, but first indications are good. The only possible down is the sound from the on board speaker, but I'm not one of those annoying idiots who goes around with the sound blaring. If I want to listen to music I use the headphone.UpdateThe only issue so far is finding my way around the new version of Android. The battery life is good so far.

Just as good as phones of twice the price and more
This phone is even better than the X18 that I bought last year, superb spec, loads of everything, fast and pleasant to use, good to handle, included screen protector and jelly surround, the camera is decent enough, too.I can hardly praise it enough, the X18 was excellent value and this seems better. All the equipment of an expensive phone without the £800 price tag.I have gripes, yes; I'm right-handed and it's not right for the "back" button to be on the left, but I've got used to it. I feel that the settings app is not really very good, it may seem intuitive to somebody, but not me. Since the Android update, the annoying little startup and shutdown tune at full volume with a buzz has gone. The new annoyance to replace it is the auto brightness, which is slow to respond and always too bright, even in complete darkness. I downloaded a screen dimmer from Google play, just so I'm not blinded if the phone rings when I'm in bed (my children needing lifts home.)If I think of anything else, I'll be back if I do. Looking really good so far!
I'd been looking for a replacement for my elderly Sony X Compact, but wanted to keep my sim. I'd been looking at the more well-known brands, but this caught my eye because of the colour, but then because of the spec for the price. It sat in my basket for a week or so because I wasn't sure whether I should take a chance on a make I'd not heard of, but then it showed up as a lightning deal so I took the plunge.I've only had it a couple of days but so far so good. It's a gorgeous looking thing out of the box, but quite difficult to take a photo of as it just lights up like neon! It comes with a nice case which allows you to still see the colour, so I've not even used the flip case I bought for it.I'd backed up my old phone to Google Drive and setting the Cubot up was a doddle. The apps I use on a daily basis are WhatsApp, YouTube and Pokémon Go, and I've had absolutely no problems using any of them on the Cubot. I've also tried Google Maps today while out and about and it worked perfectly. The camera is fine for what I use it for, which is taking snaps (usually of my dogs) and occasionally putting them on Twitter. So far I'm really happy with this phone 😄

It's good for the price.
I had my Huawei mate 10 pro stolen. I wasn't on a contract/insured so crap situation, but my own fault. I then got a vvv cheap smartphone which struggled with all the basics. I then did tons of research on non-top-brand decent smartphones and went for this. It's decent. It's fast, games & streaming no problems (and my broadband is cheap!), loud alert tones, (video volume is poor) lovely big bright screen though (much bigger than it looks in the ads) and big fonts. The only thing that lets it down is the camera, which is so bad. It shouldn't be advertised as in any way good. Photography options are so limited, as in nothing except silly filters - you can't get good shots with it, they're all saturated and sharp or blurry. I'm used to the Huawei type cameras and they're incredible. I'll be going back to Huawei soon because the camera to me is very important.

Cubot x19 black
Arrived in good time, Nice phone looks good easy on the eye home screen battery power average / ok - does not last more than 8hrs if you use frequently and thats without watching movies etc if you only use for calls texts then will last 24hrs , has some nice wallpapers, not too big to hold in ones hand/palm . 4gb ram speed to process web searches is good enough but you get quicker web speed with 8gb ram phones ( obviously) camera is fine no issues does what its suppose to. I use it as my work phone. So far no real issues or problems for the price its worth it.Update* after nearly a year use the finger print sensor no longer works and everything is slow to load after using the screen unlock pattern. Some will say paying 100 pound for a phone lasting 10 months is worth it I would say - No.
