SmartEquine Devil's Claw Plus Granular, 2 lb, 30 Servings

I'm SO excited about this product! I have a 28 year old mare who has arthritis, but is otherwise completely healthy. She has been on MSM for years but this winter seemed to be progressively getting more stiff and sore - some days even to the point of being reluctant to move. I came across Devil's Claw Plus, decided to give it a shot, and replaced her MSM with it. Only a couple of weeks later she seems to be her normal spunky self again and is running around with more fluid movement than I've seen for a very long time! Quick note: She wasn't too thrilled about having a new taste in her feed pan at first, but I just added a little water to make the powder stick to the sweet feed and worked her up to 2 scoops/day over the course of a few days. Now she eats it with no problem. I highly recommend this great product! It worked so wonderfully for my mare!

Love, love, love this stuff! I bought an older kid safe horse for my young daughter. The poor old mare would get so stove up with arthritis that all she would do is walk/shuffle around. After ten days of supplementing she trotted to the barn for feed. After twenty days she ran with the other horses at turn out. Now 6 months later she's a fiery thing that is the dominant mare in the pasture. She's gained weight and looks and feels great. Still as sweet as ever with my daughter. She also had issues with choking, and since she has been on this we haven't had any issues. Don't know if it is just timing or the antiinflammatory properties of devil's claw and yucca have helped in her esophagus as well. Great price for great results. You can't go wrong with this one!

This stuff worked wonders for my horses laminitas

I do LOVE this product. I have a 17year old QH and she's an extremely picky eater. She will not eat this with dry grain. She's an easy keeper so I decided to try a little soaked beat pulp with this mixed in and it does the trick! We constantly get compliments on how well she moves (came to us sore, ouchy, stiff, and -old-) now she runs around bucking like a 2 year old... AND it doubles as an awesome hair/coat supplement. She's shiny, and no more dry sky issues! However, I've ordered this twice now from Amazon and both times they're arrived opened, with the powder spilt in the box. We've ordered from Horse.com, statelinetack, and a Valleyvet with zero issues from them. I shop for best price.

We use this on two of our horses who are both 24 years old and have arthritis. They are different horses on this product! Completely sound, no tripping, and no stiffness. They are both currently on loan to a handicapped riding program for children and literally changing these kids lives! None of it could be possible without this product. I continue to purchase this product and deliver it to the program every month because it is so important to me that they stay on it. Just today, I delivered it, and my daughter and I were able to take both of those sweet mares on an hour trail ride, not a bad step was taken between the two of them! Truly allows them to have a longer useful life! Thank you for a superior product at a reasonable price!

I love this product and I tell everyone about it. It has allowed Cowboy who is 30 and has Cushings to move better with some relief. I always have this in the barn. I have a rescue and we have horses with varying needs and Devils Claw Plus helps me make them more comfortable, and is a great product value for the dollar

I purchased this product because I noticed my 15 year old OTTB mare was very "clicky" in her joints. She was not lame, but I wanted to find something as a preventative. I have been feeding this for about 4 - 6 months and the clicking joints are gone! In my opinion she moves better too, but this could just be in my head. Keep in mind you have to follow the feeding directions - one scoop am & pm. I think some people don't realize this and that's why they don't see results. The supplement is in a "powder" form. It almost looks like pellets that were ground up finely. She has no problem eating it. I highly recommend this as an alternative to more expensive joint supplements like Cosequin. But - you do need to feed as directed and wait AT LEAST 2 months to really start seeing results. Be patient!

Works better than Bute. However, on 2/15/2025 I ordered and it was $21.68 fast forward 130 days 6/24/2025 and it's $44.16. Manufacturer is in the USA - Michigan. Price gouging for sure. 😔
