The best kind you can get
I recently purchased a 140amp hone 3 in 1 buz box welder. Before I changed the ground to this one here I was having stop and go contact issues and my arc was not staying consistent. I mainly use the mig option for most small projects around the house. It is extremely irritating when you can’t lay a consistent bead because of ground connection issues. I am not a licensed welder but I’ve been welding for over 20 years. These clamps are very stout and strong and make an excellent connection. No start and stop. One thing I may add that I have seen with people installing these clamps is make sure you complete cut off the old end and strip a freash pice of wire off of your ground before installing. I’ve seen people leave the pressed end on it and cram it in there. That’s not the proper way to install. All in all I’m very impressed with this clamp. I do use these on my bigger miller rigs as well. I highly recommend this if you are having ground clamp issues or want to prevent issues and just replace that cheap Chinese clamp that comes with your welder. Remember better welds come from a good clean ground and experience

Upgrade to welding ground clamp.
The ground clamp looks really good. This is going to be a huge upgrade to my clamp that came with my machine. I used oversized copper electrical ground crimp connectors to make sure that the strands of wires stay together before I inserted it into the lug hole. worked perfectly!

GOOD GROUND
Replaced one with a worn out spring, looks identical, and the one it replaced had hard service for at least 20 years, so good deal. The new spring is stiff as people said, but I don't care, is better than it falling off the work

How is your grip strength?
I brought these to hopefully improve my burning metal together. I'm willing to blame anything for my bugger welding. They are obviously built to attach to something once, like a welding tables. The only problem is it takes about 75 pound of grip to open the jaws. I am not kidding. I "weld" smaller items, requiring moving the ground around often. Not happening with these.A grounded table, that's what I need! Or maybe not a cheap welder.

Very Nice Clamp
This is a very heavy built clamp that is 100x better than the cheap one that came on my Hobart. I will say it is a little stiff to squeeze together but maybe the guys complaining about that should hit it with their purse. Definitely recommend this for your welder.

Half the price of a similar clamp at local supply
This thing has a spring you could use in the gym to build up hand muscles. Far superior to the stamped steel clamps that come with most welders and plasma cutters these days.

Excellent clamp, strong spring, no trouble grounding
I used this to replace the standard spring style clamp that came with my Lincoln flux core/mig welder and very happy I upgraded. The strong spring keeps the clamp in place and provides excellent grounding
