gorgeous I put a submergible light in the middle and with a floating candle on top and 4 small votive candles around it.Made the most lovely glowing centerpieces for my daughters sweet sixteen.They are easy to make and make a lot of pearls .No local craft stores have anything like this.I also 2 weeks later got them in blue for a baby shower and put a little duck on top and it looked like the ducks were swimming.The best value for any centerpiece for any events , add candles feathers or use less pearls so the pearls will give the appearance of floating.So many ways to get creative with these. Be sure to use instructed amounts so pearls come out right size ,if you use too much the pearls will come out small ,and don't leave them in a cold area or they will not expand properly. To get the right size you can always add more water.

I used these for my wedding reception filled small fishbowls with them and placed a fresh flower in the fishbowl. They were beautiful and one package goes a very long way. I read somewhere to use these with distilled water because they absorb better and get bigger. I used pretty much 2 gallons of distilled water to one package of this color. It takes around 4-6 hours to absorb and will still have a little bit of water that will remain that you can keep just to help them if they do increase a bit more in size. We were able to remove the flower after the reception and still have the water pearls for other plants and the kids took some to play with. They are true to color and very pink. I was happy with the color because I was going for a pinkish fuschia color.

Overall the quality was ok,but the beads were more of a red/orange-ish color than pink. The beads did not come with instructions either so I had no idea how much water to add to the beads. After the beads fully expanded they had a horrible smell so I had to throw them away.

These are SO much FUN!!! they have a thousand different uses and just make us all feel HAPPY! the colors are amazingly VIBRANT! a friend introduced me to these and my whole family is HOOKED on them now haha - they are a beautiful way of decorating an empty vase for a party, or for flowers, and they are fun to play with them - WARNING: if you get any in the sink, make SURE u don't put them down the drain! they need to go in the trash, since they expand with water... HAVE FUN!!!

The beads were not this size! They were the size of an earring back and there was no vase!

Using this for a baby shower center piece and I was not disappointed. I used tap water and they expanded within about 3 hours. They look great for what I needed them for and I am super excited to see it all set up!

We used these in mason jars with a floating candle on top as part of our center pieces and they worked great. My only suggestion is to try them out before hand to determine how many you will actually need. When they soak up water they will take up a lot of space.

Used them for wedding decoration in vases, and put little led lights inside them. They turned out great was very pretty with the roses. The best part is that they hold the flowers in place so you don't have to over fill the vase with flowers, just so the flowers will stay up.
