I have bought three of these now, and I truly do enjoy them. They fit really well with my car and I’ve been able to move them to various car is I’ve rented as or use someone else’s car. It’s a great product, just don’t expect it to last very long. They’re not very sturdy and parts easily break, but for the price I don’t mind using it for a couple of months and then having to replace them. Most of the ones I buy last a just shy of a year, although one of them only last a few weeks but that I believe was due to a defect as the others have lasted for longer.

Bought this product back in January it was working ok (some vibration and mounting issues nothing a little fiddling couldnt fix) it will struggle to fit larger phones with a case.But it just broke on me this morning the same area other users have complained about by the ball socket. I thought I owned it alot longer because I was going to order another one but seeing as it didnt see out a year I will have to look else where. Good idea, Decent execution but not up to the mark in sturdiness.

No messy suction cup or stick residue on dashboard,. Simply clip on to rear view mirror amd that's it,. Quick, simple and works perfect!

I really liked the idea and product but when trying to install one of the lower arms snapped off due to not being strong enough when I was trying to open and grip my mirror

I love how this holder keeps your phone out of the way and more in the line of natural driving sight. It requires some effort to open up the clamp (which produces a nice, tight grip on the phone) to put the phone in, but works well. I’ve read other reviews suggesting that it wears out, but so far so good. No quality issues. Great price point will console me if it ends up turning into a disposable, but no sign of that yet.

I recently went on a trip and took my phone holder with me to put in my car rental. Unfortunately I left it in the rental when I turned it in. I loved the type of holder I had (so that I could see the map without taking my eyes off the road) and was desperate to get another one. My original one I bought from an auto parts store but as I didn't want to have to drive to different stores to find exactly what I wanted, Amazon to the rescue. This one is actually better. My original one kind fo swung a lot but this one stays put. It fits my iPhone 7+ with an otterbox case and I can use it vertically or horizontally which I prefer. So while I was bummed I left my other one behind, I ended up getting a better product. Just need to make sure the next time I take a trip to remember to check the car rental to make sure I don't leave it behind!

I bought two of these at different times. The first one lost the main screw in the unit that positions your phone, the second one the arm broke while installing it over the rear view mirror. I love how the unit positions your phone in a convenient place to see the GPS while traveling. I wish the arms were a bit longer and the piece was built a bit sturdier. If it was built better I would give it 5 stars. I have s Toyota Sienna- maybe the rear view mirror is larger than most standard cars- maybe it works better in sedans.

I bought this for my 2011 Subaru Outback. There didn't seem to be a great place on the dash to mount it, and the vent mounted one I had before was just awkward and would constantly fall off. No more! This rearview mirror mounted one is great - - I can see my gps without taking my eyes far from the road. It also can swing behind the mirror when not in use. There is a small amount of wobbling as you drive but you get used to it. This mount was ALMOST too small for my Outback's mirror, but I was able to get it on with persistence. Great buy - and I would buy again!
